Today was a pretty horrible day for those bloggers who use Feedburner to collect their blog subscribers statistics. Feedburner is used almost on every blog out there and that is because of its good syndication tools and a high profile company name on the backend i.e. Google. However today was not a good day for Feedburner users at all. There was a little glitch in the Feedburner system which caused all sites and blogs to lose a very big number of their feed subscribers. Here is the feed subscribers pie chart for Yesterday and Here is the feed subscribers pie chart for Today If you compare both these pie charts you will notice that the pie chart for Today is not showing the Google Feedfetcher subscriber count and thats where the main glitch lies. Feedburner has not counted Google Reader feed stats for today and is therefore showing a fall in the feed subscribers count of every blog. I opened FeedBurner today to check the number of my RSS subscribers today, and to my surprise, I saw that I had 0 (zero) readers today. I even tried checking in the morning ( the time when they update the feed count daily), but it wasn’t updated. I thought the update has been delayed as it is Sunday today. When it did got updated, it shows zero readers. It is showing 0 readers for all the blogs I own. My FeedBurner stats: My average feed subscribers are 79, so I’m pretty sure that this is caused by some problem at FeedBurner’s end. This is the first time I have experienced such weird problem with FeedBurner. I just want to make sure that is this just me, or is it happening with everyone else too. Let me know below. Update: It’s fixed! Yesterday, when FeedBurner stopped working, that day I had the most readers I have ever had (115) . See the image below, it’s all fixed now.

Although these were “national level events”, most of the teams that took part were from Mumbai’s colleges itself. What was so interesting about this robotics competition was the fact that it was the only means by which I could learn new stuff, get new ideas about engineering field, gain some practical knowledge and catch up with old friends who often come to such events. These events always had big prize money and winner’s certificates (extra curricular activities make an engineer’s profile stronger) to lure me to enter the competition and it also allowed me to participate in ‘bird-watching activity’, something that I could not pursue in my penitentiary. Earlier this week, a group of posters on GameFaqs revealed a game ending glitch in the recently released SNK Playmore USA version of the SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighters DS game. Essentially, (as reported by Kotaku) the glitch occurs on the 9th floor of the New Game+. After defeating an opponent named Jon, you are required to talk to him a second time in order to progress to the next floor. Unfortunately, when you try to speak to Jon again, the game crashes making progression impossible.After going through the weekend without any word from SNK Playmore USA's offices, over on the official SNK Playmore forums the company has posted up their first response to the problem.Hello all, we are researching the glitch in CFDS and will get back to everyone soon. WWW.J-LOU.COM As many as 400,000 people will not be paid as expected today because of a problem with an electronic banking system.  The BACS system, which processes financial transactions, has been running slowly and has not sent out all payments in time, the payments association Apacs said.  Spokeswoman Sandra Quinn said affected workers should be paid by Monday. She advised concerned customers to contact their back immediately.  Banks are trying to ensure direct debits will be paid as usual. Such transactions can be refused if their payment means accounts will be overdrawn.  Ms Quinn said there was no pattern to the glitch and any company that had been affected by the problem should have informed their employees.  Employees would be refunded charges if their accounts were overdrawn or if they breached their overdraft limit as a result of the problem, she added.  She advised people who needed cash for the weekend to withdraw it over the counter, as cash machines could refuse th
