So I pop my RSS reader up a bit ago and see a headline from TMZ titled Full House Reunion. With a lump already in my throat, I click on the link and find out that Ashley Olsen and Bob Sagat had dinner together. Yay. The new buzz going around in the blogsphere is that a very famous Korean drama Full House (풀하우스) is coming back next year with second season. According to the news, the writers have already written 3 episodes. The director/producers are looking to shoot the show overseas.
Of course I am going to watch this. The original Full House is my all time favorite Korean drama. But they have to cast Song Hye Gyo (송혜교) and Bi (비), otherwise, the show just won’t be the same… Will you watch it?

I was never a big fan of Full House, but it is part of recent pop culture history. It isn’t uncommon for television pilot characters to be recast if the pilot gets picked up. All it takes is some exec to say that they don’t like someone in a role for that actor to lose the job. It is hard to imagine Danny Tanner being played by anyone other than Bob Saget. John Posey was Danny Tanner in the pilot. Although Posey isn’t a household name, he is a relatively successful character actor. Based on his appearance in the opening, I don’t know if Full House would have been as popular if he had remained in the role.

Stranded in China, she is determined to get home with the help of an actor, Lee Young Jae (Bi). She borrows money from him after coming up with a clever lie and plans to pay him back after landing in Korea, only to find that all which is precious to her has been sold. In an attempt to get her possessions back, she has entered in a contract marriage with Young Jae for one year. It is quite simple, until strong feelings start to develop. Everyone around them test the “love” Young Jae and Ji Eun have for one another.
In spite of it all, Ji Eun manages to be humorous and endearing - even when her heart is breaking.
