The socialite and Paris was due to visit the African nation with members of the Playing For Good Foundation next month.
In a statement it said that “Due to the restructuring of the Playing For Good Foundation, the philanthropic trip to Rwanda that the foundation had previously planned with Paris Hilton has been postponed, Paris has been a loyal and gracious supporter of Playing For Good but the foundation has to regrettably reschedule this trip. Playing For Good would like to thank her for her generosity and her continued support of this initiative and is looking forward to rescheduling the trip with her at a later time.”

The Hyderabad International Film Festival Committee had decided to hold the forthcoming Film Festival from January 3 to January 10, 2008 at Prasad's Multiplex. Noted Director V Sagar will act as the vice-chairman of the committee, while Union minister Dr Dasari Narayana Rao would be the chairman.The films to be screened in the film festival would be divided into 12 categories and they would be screened in Prasad's Multiplex and Lalitha Kala Thoranam. In each category there would be 2 prizes. In a statement the committee says, "Those who were interested to get their feature films screened in the International Film Festival should submit their entries before November 20, 2007. For Short Films and Documentaries, the last date will be December 1, 2007."

Since we first saw the 'advanced amateur' Sony Alpha DSLR earlier this year, it's been shrouded in mystery and its spec list has been rife with guesswork and conjecture. Now we're seeing the next round of soothsaying by a flimsy franco-rumor site, telling us that the higher-end amateur model will have a 14.4-megapixel sensor, a 2.5-inch LCD viewscreen (no word about whether it will have live view or not), CompactFlash card support and wireless flash from the camera. There were even more rumors flying around, too.Sony told us at PMA in March (that's when we took the pictures you see above) there would be an even higher-end pro model forthcoming, too, but would tell us nothing else. Now rumor has it that one of the models will be called the Sony A300, with the flagship called the A500 (pictured above), and that one's packing a 20-megapixel sensor. (Via Gizmodo.)
A lot of optimistic comments shown on the web sites for the forthcoming season as well as pessimism about the current strength of the squad. It seems though that if you show any doubts about the way the club is run or suggest that the players may not be able to retain a top four position,then you are accused of being a closet spurs supporter,a person who is not a true fan, a stupid burke who expects trophies each season,etc. I have supported the club through the good times and the bad times (and there were many bad times in the period before the premiership was formed) for over 40 years and I admit that Wenger has definitely been our best manager in the history of the club.However,he is only human and has made some mistakes as well as delivering a lot of success during his 11 years at the club.
