Bonnar vs Griffin 1 is a fight that many consider to be what started the growth of the popularity of the UFC. Its also a fight which I believe Bonnar won, so this second fight between the 2 was a chance for Bonnar to show everyone that he should've been the one who was the of TUF 1. The problem was that Forrest had improved alot since that first fight and he was game. I was rooting for Bonnar because I believe he was robbed the first time and I always thought he was the better fighter. Even though Forrest beat Shogun, I still think Bonnar could beat Forrest and possibly challenge for the title one day. I have never been a big fan of Forrest Griffin, not because I dont like him, but I always thought the UFC overrated him on a constant basis. In this recent post fight (UFC 76) interview with stitched up Forrest Griffin, Forrest talks about his fight with Mauricio Shogun Rua.  Forrest states that it was a good fight, he worked on a lot of things that Shogun does well, however, he still made some mistakes, such as not cutting the corners well.  Forrest was very surprised that he got has tired as he did, he knows that he was in better shape than that, but the pace really tired him out.  He says that the blood from his cut was the first time that blood really affected his game.  Check out the full interview and take note of Forrest humor when he jokes about his post fight celebration dance - you’ll get a kick out of it. Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) was a dumb, crippled kid from Greenbow, Alabama who grew up to be an all-American hero: college football star, Vietnam war hero, ping-pong player, shrimp boat captain, corporation owner, inspirational long-distance runner, und so weiter. It's a cross between Rain Man and Born on the Fourth of July. His life story is wonderfully implausible, narrated waiting on a bustop bench to whoever is sitting there, not always listening.
