I think you have seen "What Next" on many blogs like Problogger and Blogger Buster. As these blogs are hosted on wordpress I thought this to be some wordpress plugin. But its not. It is neither a wordpress plugin nor blogger widget. But its just a blog hack or trick which you can do it in your blog template. What is the benefit of using "What Next" or something alike in blog? It’s essentially a collection of social bookmark links (StumbleUpon, Digg, and del.icio.us), a link to add a comment, and a link to subscribe to your RSS feed. You’ll notice it on every single article and template download on this site at the bottom of the entry. Here’s a screenshot of what it currently looks like:The benefit is if a user wants to subscribe on your post or digg it or Stumble it, he can do it at one

As you can see at the bottom of this blog, I have three columns in the footer section, followed by a wide section which I use to feature the main blog links. This style is fast becoming common in Web 2.0 style websites and blogs, and is quite easy to duplicate in Blogger templates. In this tutorial, I will explain how you can add these extra columns to your own Blogger blogs.
Adding extra columns to your footer section will provide more valuable space for blog widgets, and also contribute a modern "Web 2.0" appeal for your blog design. There are only four main steps to this tutorial, and I'm sure you'll agree that the overall process is quite simple. I have taken into account that different blogs have different widths and styles, and so have designed a fluid solution which should work in any Blogger layouts template.Creating the new columnsHere are the four steps needed to transform the footer section of your blog template:

You guys must have noticed that a few days back I changed Sizzled Core’s theme from iTheme to Envision. But since that day, my Wordpress.com Stats plugin was not working. The stats were not updating and it continued that way for 3 days. Then I mailed at Wordpress.com support and from there I came to know about the fix.
The problem in my case was that Envision did not have <?php wp_footer(); ?> in its footer.php
Many themes don’t have this. So it’s better to put <?php wp_footer(); ?> in your theme’s footer.php to avoid any problems later on. If ever you get stuck in such problem all you need to do is just copy the above given code and paste it anywhere in your footer.php. This will fix the problem and the plugin will continue collecting your blog’s data without any loss.

In this tutorial, we discuss the various ways you can customize the Post Footer and change the Blogger template. The steps will cover how to change the “Posted by author”, “Comments”, “Labels” links in the Post Footer, replacing them with other names or pictures.
This is how a typical Post Footer looks like. It includes the author's name, time of the post, number of comments, number of
We continue from where we left off in Post Footer – Customize Template (I). In the first part, we went through how you can change and customize the appearance of the “Posted by author” link and replace it with another name or picture. You could also remove the timestamp if you want. In this part, we continue with customization of the “Comments”, “Labels” and other icons shown in the Blogger
Cerchiamo nel nostro codice questo spezzato:<span><b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "item"'><b:if cond='data:post.allowComments'><a expr:href='data:post.addCommentUrl' expr:onclick='data:post.addCommentOnclick'><b:if cond='data:post.numComments == 1'>1 <data:top.commentLabel/><b:else/><data:post.numComments/> <data:top.commentLabelPlural/></b:if></a></b:if></b:if></span>E sostituiamolo con il seguente:<span><b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "item"'><b:if cond='data:post.allowComments'><a expr:href='data:post.addCommentUrl' expr:oncl
Today and tomorrow we'll take a closer look at building some template files for your first WordPress theme. The files we'll be constructing are the bare basics of your theme and can be recycled anytime you want to start something new. With an emphasis on the basics we'll look at the files suggested in our previous post on Getting Started with WordPress Theme Design and by tomorrow night (roughly 4 posts away) we'll have our first test theme ready.
In this post we'll work briefly with the header.php and footer.php files. We'll create some basic structures in the files and get them ready for when we really take on the brunt of actually designing the page.
Let's start with the Header. (more...)
As part of the theme design series I'll be starting this week I wanted to talk a bit about what we look for when viewing other people's themes. The idea here is that by reflecting on those things that we most often hunt for on other sites we can more easily diagnose what we want to include in our own custom theme.
While your out and browsing around your favorite blogs and websites take a moment to check out the footer on each site. Think about what things that you might expect there and what things you have actively sought out in footers before.
Personally I almost always look to the footer as a go to spot for finding the following:
Contact Information (or a contact page link)
FAQ or Help links
a link to the About page
When you look at a footer what are some of the things you expect to see or hope to see?
In a couple days, when we start work on the group theme we'll return to the things here to start putting together our footer.

The endless search for the new RV continues… We’re still waiting on the local Newmar dealer to get a Kountry Aire in stock so we can see it. Meanwhile, I was researching New Horizons again, and they have a 2006 45’ toy hauler for sale that Jim and I have contacted them about, for more information. New Horizons sells factory direct (no dealers) or via Ambassadors, who travel around in one of their units. This unit belonged to one of the Ambassadors who’ve ordered a new 2007 model.45 foot you say? Well that could be a problem. From the mid-west to the west coast, no worries. From the mid-west to the east coast, eep! We’d be over the legal towing limit for one (although that doesn’t bother me overly) but finding campgrounds out east to fit in could be a major hassle, not too mention traversing the roads out there.Avoid the eastern section of the US? We’d love to, however 90% of Jim’s contracts are out east. But… a toy hauler… are

have a banner ready. You can create your own banner in an image editing program like I have done or go to an online banner generator. To find an online banner generator just type 'free banner generator' in Google's Search Box and hit Enter.

I have had a few people who wished to learn how I added the various links that I have in my post footer. Someday, somewhere I saw customized blog with nice post-footer-line. This footer line contains a few links to top bookmark, search and index engines (Technorati, Yahoo, Spurl). I was thinking how to add this nice tweak to my blog and finally, I found solution. First go to "Customize->Template->Edit HTML". Before you begin, please backup your blog template. It's really important step. After that, check box "Expand Widget Templates". Thanks that you will be able to see all content of your blog template. Scroll down and find <p class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-3'/>Let's say that we want to add del.icio.us bookmark icon,Technorati, Spurl and Yahoo. We need to replace previous founded code with<p class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-3'><!-- del.icio.us --><a expr:href='"http://del.icio.us/post?url=" + data:post.url + "&title=" + data:post.title' target='_blank'><img alt='' src='[image url]' style='height:16px;width:16px;bor
