The news of the so-called Gloucester pregnancy pact swept the nation two weeks ago. 17 girls in this high school with a population of 1200 have become pregnant in the last year. The principal opined that the girls had made a pact with each other to become pregnant and raise the children together. Since TIME Magazine broke the original story, several of the girls have spoken out denying the claim.
I've made no secret that I wanted to see Obama and McCain become the nominees of their parties. In fact I donated equally to both of their campaigns to help ensure that happened. I did this largely because I both of them have qualities that are admirable and I want a presidential race that is about the issues rather than one that is about slinging mud. Although had Hillary not been a Clinton (and
Having just interviewed for a position with a home health agency whose territory covers a large swath of rural countryside, I am appreciating the challenges and difficulties of delivering care in such a setting. Whereas the city---where I currently provide home health care---finds patients in an area of high population density and relatively close geographic proximity, serving patients who live in
I have spent a better part of the day working on my LGBT Blogger List adding new people, making some design changes, I never realised it was going to be such a big job, but I do get some satisfaction in knowing I am building our blogging community under the one roof! (so to speak) There are some remarkable people out there that go by relatively unnoticed, I do hope that my growing list will provide an opportunity for all to be seen & heard. I also chanced upon a new photo of my favourite hunk, so without so much as a.................Chris Rockway you are just - DELCIOUS!Lastly, I came across this on The Way I see it and let me tell you, it made me cry!
By: Eric Starr As a general rule a vintage drums should range from 1920's to 1970's and drum sets usually include three, or four pieces. Some of the Manufacturers that are popular between the "vintage drum seekers" are: Gretsch, Ludwig, and Slingerland, and one of the most important aspects when choosing a vintage drum is its particular model. - That of course if you are buying the vintage drum as a collectable item, and not because you just want to add that "vintage sound" to your drum set.I do my all of drum equipment business at Fork’s Drum Closet in Nashville. One of the cool things about shopping at Fork's is that you never know who is going to come into the store. Customers, both professional and amateur, often have those drummer-to-drummer discussions that are worth just hanging out at the shop to hear. One cool thing about us drummers is that we love to share our drum information with one another. One segment of Gary Forkum’s (the owner of Fork’s) business
Corruptors are real persons. They can be our brothers, sisters, moms, dads, aunties, uncles, sons, daughters, other relatives, close friends, teachers, bosses, neighbors, or even ourselves. So are...

This morning as I was getting Emily ready for school, she did not want to tuck her shirt in (which is dress code for her school). I told her she has to tuck her shirt in. She argued that some of the other kids in her class do not tuck their shirts in. Now I know this seems to be a minor issue, although in the later grades they can get written up for not tucking their shirts in, but it was still a teachable moment. After thinking a moment I told her “It is better to Follow the Rules than The Crowd”. Though some may disregard a simple rule because they think it is silly, or aggrivating , it is a purposed rule for a reason.
It has not been long now since the headmaster at our school had to send out an email to all the parents concerning car pool issues. Some of the parents were not only disregarding the guidelines, but telling the teachers “what for” in the process of being corrected. I thought to myself what a shame. These parents are showing their children that
Happy Labor Day! We celebrated in the same way that we did last year--by attending our town's Labor Day parade. It's the biggest in the state--THE place to be on this Monday morning. The weather was perfect (in the 70's), and we met up with friends so we were able to chat while watching the groups of drum and bugle corps, VFWs, bagpipes, some guns and Civil War types, mini-cars and motorcycles
What would you think if you saw a African American’s car have a bumper sticker saying “black power”? You think that this is a proud African American.
Now what do you think if you saw a White person’s car have a bumper sticker saying “white power”? You thought write, some racist KKK member.
Why so?

Have you ever looked at a rich young girl or boy? They look so cute. Have you ever thought that in a few years they might be cocky and stubborn like Paris Hilton? Is that being a sadist? Is that being a realist? Or is just because you’re a realist that you’re a sadist?

Have you ever felt like you’ve wasted a lot of money when you give a poor starving man a dollar while minutes later you buy a $3.75 cup of coffee from starbucks which you throw away instead of refrigerating when it gets warm?
For a town whose main attraction is the world's largest shopping mall, I was amazed to see that people walking around downtown Edmonton had a pretty sloppy fashion sense. Two days here was plenty, and no I didn't go to that mall. In my opinion the whole place looks much nicer from the air, especially when leaving it.Rajeev had to be in Edmonton for work last week, so I tagged along for the ride. The main reason was that Rajeev wanted to introduce me to some old family friends who are the closest thing to family he has in Canada. We had a nice evening with them, but poor Rajeev was still severely jet-lagged, having just returned from India two days before. Here we are on the terrace of the bar at the Fairmont hotel, which was the nicest place to eat I could find in the center of the city. Note the celebratory "we're engaged!" martoonies. At this point we hadn't told many people our news, and it was nice to keep it just between ourselves for a few days.
EDUCATION
Anyone can pick an entry. Our ultimate goal is teach you to stick to your rules while learning to become a professional trader. So you’ll be trading your own account, on your OWN without any alert system or service. Education and money management is key. Why is it that one trader can enter the same trade as another and make money, while the newbie loses. Experience! Experience! Experience! Give Alex any indicator or entry system you want and he’ll make money with it. We’d all love to skip over that little hurdle! We can definitely help you shave months off your learning experience and keep you from blowing out your account. Please don’t take any signals you do not understand. Feel free to ask questions in the trading room. We’re here to help, not frustrate you.
JEALOUSY
Don’t give in to it! It is very frustrating for you to look at all the newbies and other traders making money in the room. And your sitting there diligently making nothing.
I have been really busy lately. Aside from the several jobs I find myself working at, I have been getting an Ebay store up and running. Another way for me to pay for my entertainment!!! No seriously, I am making custom books... like baby books, and wedding books, and puppy books. You should see them. I do such a good job. Hehehe. Aw, it’s fun. I hope, eventually, that it will also be profitable. What what what? What do you mean whattheheck is a Puppy Book? You know, like a Baby Book, only for dogs? Don’t laugh, all of you people who only own a cat, or I won’t create a Cat Book next. I will tell you, “The Life of a Dog, Sweetie Pea’s Journey” is great reading. Scintillating stuff. I know, I know, opening an ebay store is not all that difficult, but when you have about 2 spare hours a day and one of them must be reserved for personal grooming and sleep, you have to be choosy with the other one. Some things I am thinking of reviewing (aside from Sweetie Pea’s Puppy Book)
Thanks to the magic of time-shifting digital cable, I was able to catch Winnipeg news this evening for a recap of the results of today's provincial election. For those who missed it, you didn't miss much. For all intents and purposes, nothing changed.
From the time I have spent in Manitoba over the past few years, and conversations with friends of mine there both involved in politics and not, I don't find this terriably surprising. In general, there seemed to be a general satisfaction with the direction the province is headed. Sure there are always things that people would like to see done differently with any government, and partisans will always have their spin, but I never sensed a "kick the bums out" mentality like I did during the 2006 federal election. The same can not be said for Saskatchewan these days, and it would seem increasingly Alberta as well (or Calgary at least).
As for the Liberal perspective, obviously good news that they managed to hang on to
Ricky at SG, recieved his replacement Nokia N75 from Nokia USA, and he has been using it for a few days. Here are Ricky's thoughts about it:
"I really dislike the flip form factor, but the 3G and simultaneous voice/data is hard to argue with, at least for convenience.
I also want to say that currently, for the ~$200 price (with contract) from Cingular, it's the best S60 device you can buy in

One of the things that’s got to be going through a lot of peoples’ minds now is how one man with two handguns, that he had to reload time and time again, could go from classroom to classroom on the Virginia Tech campus without being stopped. Much of the answer can be found in policies put in place by the university itself.
Virginia, like 39 other states, allows citizens with training and legal permits to carry concealed weapons. That means that Virginians regularly sit in movie theaters and eat in restaurants among armed citizens. They walk, joke and rub shoulders everyday with people who responsibly carry firearms — and are far safer than they would be in San Francisco, Oakland, Detroit, Chicago, New York City, or Washington, D.C., where such permits are difficult or impossible to obtain.
The statistics are clear. Communities that recognize and grant Second Amendment rights to responsible adults have a significantly lowe

I am not a fuzzing guru but it has occured to me there is a much quicker way to go about developing a fuzzer. Or better yet a fuzzing ’wrapper’ to well known and tested applications that already implement complex protocols. Fuzz tool authors spend a considerable amount of time re-implementing complex protocols [...]
