It feels good when the blog picks up an award or two or three. It is time to recycle an old acceptance speech, I suppose.Update: It feels especially good when the major inspiration for me to have started blogging is recognised.

When I saw today's post in srivalli's Cooking 4 All season, I was really upset! The story really affected my mood. Why should such agony and pain come to people and that too poor people? Only God has answers to it. But, we can make a difference. We can contribute to this fundraiser and make 'Lakshmi' live longer at least for her kids.Ramya, from Ramyacooks won the Eat health Protein Rich contest a

Picture from blogs.knownews.comI’m not saying people will like me, like my site, like what I write and it’s understandable I’m not going to please everybody. But how dedicated are you to the Blogosphere? If you’re reading this then you’re probably a blogger just like me, but besides writing in your blog, how much have you given back to the Blogosphere?Aren’t we supposed to be a community? Do you write in your blog but don’t take the time to read other peoples’ blogs or even comment? Are you that type of person who spams the shoutbox’s and community messages with links to check out a specific post or just your site in general? But you don’t do the same for others?Well, I came to a realization that I’m not as dedicated as I wanted to be to my fellow bloggers. Yes, I con

It's about word verification for comments to your blogs. I very much understand about having COMMENT MODERATION. I didn't at first, and when I got a comment or two that was either really nasty or foul, I started it. Of course, it's nice to see one's comment instantly on a blog post, but it's kinda smart to do it to avoid any unpleasant messages. What I don't understand is word verification. I mean I UNDERSTAND it, but am I wrong to find it slightly annoying? I know it's to avoid "non-humans" from leaving messages, but can't that just be avoided by using comment moderation? One reason I hate it is because when I first started blogging, Google apparently thought my posting a lot each day meant that I was posting spam. Each and every time I saved something, I had to type in a word verification code. You have no idea how annoying that is. I wanted to scream. So I have a grudge against word verification. (To get rid of it, they LOOK at your blog and when they determine you're a real

What is he doing here! He is actually writing a guest post, and I asked him to share his SEO experiences with all of us.
I will ask a lot of other people (as I [...]
The other day I was emailing back and forth with one of my blog readers and they mentioned they had about $160,000 in student loans they would be paying off over the next few years. This was a real wake up call for me because I suddenly realized that I have a daughter who is going off to college in just two years! My daughter does not currently have plans to enroll in medical school, so I don't
