Damn, It Feels Good To Be A Banker: Book Review
I don’t often write book reviews on Mergers & Inquisitions (in fact, this is the first one I’ve ever done), and for good reason: there aren’t that many new books out there which are both relevant and entertaining to those breaking into investment banking. Sure, you have the old favorites - Monkey Business, Liar’s Poker and [...]

      Feels Good Tonight
I am so tired a while ago, my eyes were quite too tired too, and so when hubby came home from work, I've decided to just take a nap for a while. And when I woke up from having an hour of sleep, I felt fine now. I am so glad I did it. And when I woke up, I cooked some dinner and done. Now, I am back to the computer again, to write some of those pending tasks I had a couple of days ago. I am s

Despite Stylistic Inconsistency, George Clooney’s ‘Leatherheads’ Feels Good
CHICAGO – George Clooney’s latest film, “Leatherheads,” brings light-hearted, screwball antics and slapstick blunders to the screen with a romantic tale that tells how professional football came to be. Read Allison Pitaccio’s full review of “Leatherheads” in our reviews section.View our full “Leatherheads” image gallery. Set in 1925, fading football star Dodge Connelly (George Clooney) attempts to save the professional game by recruiting a college football hero to save the sport. The film begins with a game of ragtag football in a stadium shared by cattle where oddball plays and dirty tricks are welcomed. Few fans come to the games and barely follow the sport – due to their often illegal consumption of booze – but when Dodge is told the team is bankrupt and the sp

      Feels Good Or Not
Too often going after what feels good means letting of what you know is right. And letting someone in means abandoning the walls you took so long to build. Of course, the toughest sacrifices are the ones we don't see coming ; when we don't have time to come up with a strategy, pick a side, or measure the potential loss. When that happens, when the battle chooses us and not the other way around, that's when the sacrifice becomes more than we can bear. There are days that make the sacrifices seem worthwhile. And then there are the days where everything feels like a sacrifice. And then there are the sacrifices that you cant even figure out why you're making I just can't tell you what you want to hear which seems to be a theme in my life. Just because you can't tell someone doesn't mean you ca

Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta
If I could pick a theme song for today, it was “Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta” by Geto Boys off the Office Space soundtrack. It’s from a montage scene where Peter appears to be living a care-free life at work, knocking over his cubicle walls, and outside work, fishing with Jennifer Aniston. I slept in on my first weekday without a job, woke up feeling as though I’m 99% complete with trip preparations, drove (traffic-free) into DC to apply for my Chinese Visa, pulled into a parking spot a 1/2 block away, was the last person in the queue to submit my application by the 11:30am cutoff (for same-day service), spent the next 2.5 hours exploring Georgetown (see below for details), picked up a great new Patagonia daypack, paid $130 to get my passport back (w/12-month multi-entry Visa), drove home with little traffic, and was all but sold on keeping Sprint service with only their $4/month flat fee for international calls (plus local international rates, and no co

It’s not a big deal, but it feels good
A man comes home from work one day and he says to his wife: “Honey, I got a new secretary. And imagine what happened! She’s got a red and white bra. You know, these are the colors of my favorite football team. Anyway, it’s not a big deal but it feels good.” The next day when they come home his wife asks, “How was your day?” The man says: “Fantastic! It’s not only her bra that is red and white but also her panties. You know it’s not a big deal but it really feels good!” The third day they meet at home after work and now the man asks his wife, “And what happened today in your office, honey?” She says, “Oh, nothing special, sweetheart. I got a new boss today. His d*ck is two inches longer than yours. You know it’s not a big deal but, hell, it feels good!”

Damn It Feels Good to Be a Cheesehead!
I wasn't expecting it. You weren't expecting it. Not even the omnipotent Brett Favre was expecting it, but the Green Bay Packers, the youngest team in the NFL are 3-0. With all 3 wins against 2006 playoff teams, they've got me super excited right now and I just wanted to bask in their glory for 5 minutes before I head off to class. Favre's got us (Packers fans) thinking playoffs and about a serious run at the NFC North Championship.I really wish he could have beat the record at home, but that's ok. Now, if they could figure out how to run the ball a little better we could be even better. Favre looked so sharp the last two weeks that I'm beginning to think that he's STILL not ready to retire. If he keeps this up and they go deep in to the playoffs, he isn't gunna want to leave! My second favorite team is whoever is playing the Vikings, so all in all I had a pretty good Sunday! Brett looked like the Brett of old and he head me jumping up and down and screaming. Bring on those lowl

It feels good having fans ♥
and Like Ra is one of them. For some of you it might be strange to dwell on the "dark side" sometimes. For me it isn't. I'm not really into "this" kind of stuff, but I absolutely accept the fact that some people do some things I wouldn't (assumed it is legal and doesn't harm someone!). I'm curious and love to test new things so riding a bike in latex pants - for example - is something I had to check out ;-) or simply walk around in 4inch heels on cobblestone (beeing 5.11'' gave it some extra drama!). Fashion has always to do with trying out new things and that's what makes it special and never boring. I've never been to a sex shop but I went into one to by latex powder and spray - totally new experience and all for the sake of fashion!Like Ra - by the way - has a very nice blog concerning topics like fashion, latex and lycra. Definitely a place you should visit more often if you're into including some "dark" stuff into your daily wardrobe!Credit: I haven't got a clue where I

Sometimes it feels good to crack open your bindings and get thumbed.
Books Books!  Glorious Books!  They’re here!  It’s like Christmas morning without the creepy feeling of being indebted to a fat old guy who hangs out with midgets in pointy shoes or the discomfort of witnessing your parents having a silent argument with their eyes about why said fat guy appears to have purchased a few hundred dollars more presents than he had budgeted for.  Why my dad cared so much about Santa’s spending habits was beyond me, but however deviant the old man’s motives might have been, he had damn fine taste in toys.  Damn fine.  All that insanity aside, I love books.  When I was a kid, going to the library was a weekly occurrence that my brother and I greeted with the kind of fervor that children usually reserve for a chocolate smothered Elmo pizza pool party.  Granted, at least at first, a lot of that probably had to do with the fact that my mother was a genius manipulator and ended every library trip with a chocolate dipped ice cream co
