Erika Jackson, the woman behind usherforever.com fan site, says she will fight the legal teams of both Usher and his label who are trying desperately to shut her down. Jackson told Media that the drama started earlier this year when she refused their attempts to turn her unofficial site into an official one. When she turned down an offer to assign the url “usherforever.com" to Usher’s label, LaFace Records, Jackson said she became the target of legal threats from his lawyers. The Web site has also been open about its hatred of Usher’s fiancée Tameka Foster, which caused the entertainer to write an open letter to people magazine speaking out against fan sites who speak ill of his future wife. I looked at this fansite for the Question some time ago, and I seem to remember them saying on the main page that they said they'd accept whatever was done with Vic Sage. And you know something? If that's what they said, I'm appalled. DC may have offed a viable character in favor of one who isn't very interesting (Renee Montoya), and who's unlikely to receive any human interest stories like what Vic Sage had in the late 80s series, and they won't even fight for him? To me, this sounds like weakness.If they were smart, they'd voice their objections. That's exactly what should be done, and not to just go along accepting what's done in Emperor's New Clothes style.

The site www.christinaricci.info now features the message, "offline due to fur usage" followed by a note from the owner, explaining her reasons for shutting the 8-year-old tribute page down. She writes, "I recently found out Christina doesn't appear to have a problem wearing fur. Well, I do. I also have a problem with people who wear fur. Conclusion: I have a problem with Christina."
