Apparently Sam 'FELL' down a 100' MINE SHAFT and had to be rescued with the help of the Grosevenor caving club and the RSPCA!Sam suffered a DISLOCATED PAW and a CUT TO HIS HEAD but was otherwise fine and is now recovering at home.What I wonder though, cause us labs are pretty darn smart and very aware of our surroundings, is were there any deliquent squirrels or cats hanging about that maybe 'accidently' PUSHED Sam down the mine shaft? Oh btw, this scratchboard drawing of a very old house that is literally falling down was just awarded first place in drawing at the Peninsula Art Assoc. Spring show--thank you judges.Since the constant battering of wind, rain, and moving, shifting sand (no soil here only sand) houses move and tilt and crumble a lot after some years. This house looked so sad to me when I started drawing it several months ago--as though it had been forgotten in time. After this past winter's horrible storms, it all but fell over.
