I was talking with a couple of my friends after a Professor Curtis class and we all came to the same conclusion,he makes you learn without you knowing that you’re learning. He makes his classes fun and applies his lessons to his students. He doesn’t just teach straight from the textbook.
For example, the other day [...]
It's true. From the moment you were born, 'til the moment that you die, you have been and will continue to be marketed to.When people here the word "marketing" or "marketed" they instantly imagine someone sitting behind a desk with a telephone dialing random numbers in order to sell a product that nobody really wants to be. And if you imagine that scenario when thinking of the word "marketing" the
While reading the news yesterday I came across a story that was written about the episode on Primetime ABC news on the disorder AIS. It's a disorder of sexual development in the womb called Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome, and basically it's females that look, act and are female, but they have male DNA. They have a vagina, but they have no uterus, instead, inside, they have a set of testes. What
So, on Friday/Saturday, Bee's Musings was out of commission for a spell (always wanted to say for a spell, meh. I think it means for a while in country) due to the evil Sitemeter. At first, I thought it was my computer because Andy could pull up my blog no problem. I had no clue why or how or what or when or even who but I can tell you that I felt like somebody had given me a swift kick to the imag
I have been a Red Sox fan since 1982, a very rabid one since 1999, and a writer of a Red Sox Blog since 2006. And never ONCE, even with all the crazy permutations of this team in the past, been so flummoxed at what is going on with this team…

Acne is something over 95% of us will always experience in our lives at one point or another. I've stated this on numerous occasions because it's not something you shouldn't be ashamed of. When we break out or suffer from something, we typically know what it is most of the time (hopefully). But is it possible to break out with acne and not know we have it? After all, it is a series of "bumps" or "

Although the Big B has made blogging into something of a national rage, not everyone in Bollywood is into it. Ram Gopal Varma is certainly not Blogging. “I don’t know how or where this whole rumour of my blogging started. I didn’t deny it because blogging sounds like something really naughty. I played along because [...]

Over the holidays and into the early part of the New Year, I really was feeling run down. As a result, my productivity suffered, and my boss noticed. At first, she was very angry. she thought I was behaving this way to make her look bad, although she didn't phrase it that way. Once she knew that I really respected her and that was so not the truth, she sincerely asked what was going on, and when I explained, she said she understood, but that we both needed to kick ass and take names, so to speak. Most of the time, I really like her. She's a Marketing Genius, and has worked in and for some Fortune 500 companies. She was the only executive that worked remotely. I was hired to be her presence in the office. When she got stressed, she would vent to me. Sometimes I didn't know what to say or how
Some trends can be considered as improvements and are easily likable. Others should better be left behind. Take this new freaky trend from the land of "no one can be crazier than us" for example: fake alcoholic drinks for children. Part of a whole product line recently released by Sangaria the above is an apple juice flavored fake beer designed to make children imitate a common adult practice.
Contrary to popular belief, we were not evicted from our Los Angeles office in October. Our lease was up and we had to skeedaddle.
However.
Due to several factors out of our control and a slight miscalculation on the part of someone I'm too nice to name…
…our new office wasn't ready for our LA employees until [...]

I don’t know where or when these were taken, but they feature Jennifer Love Hewitt topless with rocks on her back. And also Jennifer trying to put her leg over her head. Or something. I don’t know. The only thing I do know is that these might be the most important photographs of our generation. Well, except for that one I took of a doggie wearing a funny hat. That thing won like three Pulitzers.
So I had every intention of posting more this weekend. But, some unexpected family (Well they're like my second family) issues happened so I have been away. I should be able to post tonight, but no guarantees. Keep them in your prayers especially my "little sister" Natalie.
A client of mine just introduced me to http://www.walkscore.com/. Just enter your address or the address of the property you are looking to acquire and the site will assess the walkability of the home.
As stated on their web site, “Walk Score helps people find walkable places to live. Walk Score calculates the walkability of an address by locating nearby stores, restaurants, schools, parks, etc.”
It is interesting to think about how a walk score might help to assess a properties value. If a home has a better Walk Score is it more valuable? One of the features of the site is to check out celebrity Walk Scores. I checked out Bill Gates’s house and it gets a walk score of 6 out of 100. I wonder if Bill ever walks 2.03 miles to the Lincoln Square Cinema to catch a matinee. George Bush’s Texas Crawford ranch gets a walk score of 0 out of 100. My home got a 22 out of 100.
Maybe Walk Score has less to do with residential values and more to do with busin
I've bought cute new shoes. My clothes are ready to be packed.
(As a quick aside: is there an award for the largest bag or the most overpacked? I tend to try to pack for every situation, and since I've never been to the Blogher conference, and I have no idea what to expect, I'm packing everything in my closet. Including my pith helmet and ass-less chaps. You never know when you'll be called
Because I was moving so often, my airline miles programs got lost into the wind. Actually my mom started recieving a few of them at home in hawaii. After collecting the mail over a span of a month, I get a letter from my mom, from Continental that I had about 15 thousand [...]
I'm just sick. I went in today for my ultra sound to make sure that I don't have any ovarian cysts. The good news is that I don't. The bad news is that my uterine lining is thickened for some reason. Now I have to try to find someplace that can draw my blood and measure my estrogen and progesteren levels.I don't even know what's going on. They might be able to adjust my meds and get me back on track but that's a best case scenario. I might have to do more birth control but then that throws off the egg donor stuff and I don't even know what they do then. The nurse at the RE's office said that this is pretty rare but that it does happen. I just feel like I've somehow gone and screwed something up.I don't know what to do.
Jordan Who? That’s the question Peter Andre is asking as he is suffering from Meningitis.
Jordan revealed to Ok! Magazine "He's usually sleeping, or drifting in and out. Yesterday I went in and he didn't even know I was there. I am so stressed."
Finally Glamour girl Katie Price Jordan last night spoke for the first time about husband Peter Andre’s devastating illness.
As he continued his fight
I couldn’t talk about this until recently. This situation even got some positive PP press because of how it was handled. I am the second pastor at the CC I’m at. The first pastor, who had been there nine years, recently got involved in an innapropriate physical relationship with a woman that was not his wife. When it clicked for him as to what he was doing he immeidately called the regional CC guy and resigned. He also immediately called the chief of police and confessed. He did so because he was the police and fire chaplain in the town.
When he resigned and turned himself in, the details as to his offence were not shared with the church due to the police investigation. It wasn’t being kept secret or swept under the rug, it was a need-to-know thing for a time. They were told something along the lines of he committed an indiscretion. What actually happened was not made public until he was formally charged and it was on the news. Suddenly I’m getting calls from ra
