Email has become an important tool for all of us. We send and receive a lot of emails everyday as it slowly will become a replacement for the traditional mail.
However, we will also receive more and more spam mail, and we may want to protect or hide our real email address when signup something.
So, we [...]
The reason for it is because we have so many users, we created multiple domains (a domain is the word after the @ symbol - @domain.com) so that people could continue getting email addresses they wanted (like John, instead of john19872). We now have @hotmail, @live, and @msn. So while Yahoo! would have one john; Microsoft could have several. People also have the ability to create an &

I’ve recently made a change in the way company email addresses are displayed on CanDevs. Where listed, the @ character of a company’s email address has been removed and replaced with an image of the character instead. This is to help prevent email address harvesting. Email address harvesting is basically the process of obtaining lists of [...]

Do you have a “cute” email address? Something such as sexyandsmart@domain? Your friends probably like this email address – and they can remember it’s yours. But for prospective college admission officer or employer these “cute” email addresses can be a major turn-off. For “professional” emails get a “professional” email address. I like gmail accounts – they’re free and neutral-sounding (hotmail.com does NOT sound very professional). I recommend using your full name so that you reinforce your “brand” in all email communications. For example, let’s say your name is Jonathan Blipman. Then get an email address for jonathan.blipman. If that address is taken, try your middle initial: jonathan.m.blipman. (I like using the period between names because i
If you have to ask whether or not you need diamond ring insurance you probably do. There's something nagging you in the back of your mind saying "this thing's just too darn valuable to have it stolen or misplaced!" And you're right. While you should never look upon your diamond jewelry as an investment, there's no harm in being smart about covering things you're spending a fair amount of cash on, and diamond ring insurance can go a long way toward easing your concerns. There are a few things to consider, however.Diamond ring insurance is usually found as a rider to most homeowners or renters insurance policies, at least in the US. Many insurance companies won't bother, but most of the larger ones will. There are basically three types of diamond ring insurance: Actual Cash Value
Email marketing is very much dependent on something termed as email list leveraging. Through the use of email lists, you can actually create trust-worthy relationships with your clients and allow them to see and try out your products while at the same time getting more information about things related to your products. How then do [...]
IdentiFight Displays Details Associated with Your Email Address [Privacy] Web site IdentiFight searches popular web applications for accounts linked to an email address you specify. The main purpose of IdentiFight is to show you what information is available online to anyone who has your email address, then to help you cut the connection between your address and that info when possible. Keep in mind that you'll need to submit your email address to IdentiFight to run the search, and there's always the possibility that IdentiFight is doing some malicious email harvesting itself, but from all appearances, the creator seems genuine. As always, submit your email with caution. If you do give it a try, share what you found—and whether or not you were surprised with the results—in
Sometimes, we want to sign up for a web service, but were hesitate to giving out our email address because it may brought us a lot of spam mails. There are a few solution to this question.

A lot of people search every day trying to find someone’s email address, whether it is an old friend or someone they just met. If you have a gmail account, when signing up for things on websites you can add a + sign and any letters, with no spaces, to your email address and gmail will ignore all characters after the +. For example if your email is me@gmail.com and you signed up at hello.com you could enter your email as me+hello@gmail.com. Now if you get any spam being sent to me+hello@gmail.com you know that site has sold your email to a spammer.I got this from daytipper, just sharing with you.
Here is a Trick from which you can protect yourself from Spam Robots.
Spam Robots are continuously Crawling the Internet through search engines in search of email addresses. They find email addresses with the help of @ symbol because email always contain the symbol and gather as many as possible.
You can't be spam free if you are publishing or displaying your email address anywhere on the
Another reason to keep your email address secure comes from Slashdot. A Slashdot columnist points out that even an email address that you think is “secure” can end up on spam lists - and in the most unlikely ways. Seemingly, some companies do not protect their email address data well enough - spam virus [...]
Blogger Forum TipsHide your email address from spammersBloggers may notice that their junk email has gone up about 100% once their blog gets popular. The reason, of course, is that your email address appears on the site and can be easily "mined" by spambots. Spambots search the net for email addresses that can be collected and sold to spammers. A good, valid list of email addresses can be worth a fortune. Some sites make an attempt around the spambots by listing their email address as something like "Joe-at-aol.com" and invite you to change the "-at-" to "@" when you send email to the site. The trouble with that technique is the spambots learned all these sorts of tricks years ago. It is the easiest thing in the world to write a script that searches for email addresses and also phrases like
Bloggers often wish to offer their email address to provide a way for readers to communicate with them directly. however, in posting your email address on your blog, you will run the risk of your address being harvested by spam-bots, which scan the web in a similar fashion to search-engines, though specifically targeting email addresses to add to their databases. Here are some of the best methods you can use to protect your email address from spam:
My favorite method, and the one I use currently, is to scramble your email address using javascript, which ensures your address is "broken" when read in the source code, thus protecting it from spam-bot discovery. I used the "email scrambler" tool from BlogFlux.com which automatically generates the required javascript using your email address, and also provides a <noscript> section for browsers which cannot read javascript.
To use this tool, simply visit the BlogFlux email scramble page, and enter your email address in the box pr

One of my favorite flubs, when men are responding to an ad I've posted on CL, is when he sends me multiple emails, clearly having forgotten who he's already responded to that day. I say this is a favorite flub for a couple of reasons. First, I have done this. I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but there was an ad that was SO great that I agonized about responding to it, and then, after a long time, I did, but I'd spent so long thinking about what I might say that I... forgot that I had actually gone ahead and said some of it. So I wrote another email and sent it off.
Needless to say, the guy thought this was a riot, and also liked my enthusiasm, so it wasn't all bad.
Of course, normally when a guy sends me more than one email in response to a particular ad, it's a cut-and-paste job, which makes it less flattering. I don't know if he's sending it to me twice because he liked my ad both times he looked at it or if he just lost track of where in the w4m ads he left off. Still
There is a new marketing strategy in town these few days and it’s not something uncommon by now Email marketing is around for quite sometime already ever since the dot com boom however there are still many people who are still clueless as to how it works and how you should go about doing it
