Well, as expected we are seeing quite an improvement over January when everyone is hibernating! Yes, things are still volatile in the world of real estate right now, but we are seeing signs pointing to a typical spring market around these parts! Good activity, especially in the contract writing segment. Take a look…

It never fails. I swear to God, this never, ever fails. What is it going to take to convince baseball fans that what happens in early-March isn’t a sure-fire sign of things to come?
This has gotten so far past the point of ridiculous, that I feel the urge to rip my hair out. [...]

They emailed me the other day, telling me that they are ready to accept me, and yet I feel bad that I didn't tell them the truth even up till now. Still, I guess I will, and right now it's just not the time yet. Again, after all those bitterness and hard time, it seems my time of enjoying the life has come. Well, at least I hope so, since suffering is just no fun at all. This winter was the coldest since I have been outside of my hometown, and hopefully spring is beginning to knock the door now. It just can't get any better when it's always sunny and cozy--I missed it during the past couple of months. June was supposed to be the time to say goodbye to all those classmates and friends, and yet this time we are going to do this in March. Time is fast. While arranging and organizing the last
Whoo Hoo! An early spring has been predicted by General Beau Lee, Georgia's Official Weather Prognosticator, who lives in luxury at the Yellow River Game Ranch in Lilburn, Georgia.
I'm so glad he didn't see his shadow - I'm ready for warmer weather!
The phones are ringing off the hook, with potential buyers getting an early start on searching for homes in the Athens, Georgia area, this week. So I am predicting an early spring market for Athens, Georgia area real estate, also!
Happy Groundhog Day!
‘Lines written in Early Spring’ - the poemI heard a thousand blended notes,While in a grove I sate reclined,In that sweet mood when pleasant thoughtsBring sad thoughts to the mind.To her fair works did Nature linkThe human soul that through me ran;And much it grieved my heart to thinkWhat man has made of man.Through primrose tufts, in that green bower,The periwinkle trailed its wreaths; And 'tis my faith that every flowerEnjoys the air it breathes. The birds around me hopped and played,Their thoughts I cannot measure:--But the least motion which they madeIt seemed a thrill of pleasure. The budding twigs spread out their fan,To catch the breezy air;And I must think, do all I can,That there was pleasure there. If this belief from heaven be sent,If such be Nature's holy plan,Have I not reason
If you live in an area where you can start seeing the promise of spring in late March or early April, then you're an "early spring" rose gardener. However, if you live where March and April bring the season's best skiing, then just keep waiting out old man winter until your turn at spring arrives and then follow the tips in this article.
Early spring is a time of great activity in the rose

Ok, so it's a mixed bag on the weather front. There's the usual shopping to be done, the Oakley Centre is staging a toy and model railway exhibition, the Alex are down south at Gillingham and I'm sure there's a big, long list of DIY stuff I'm supposed to be doing - somewhere! However, there's always time for the park and, like the town itself, we're about to enter a period of significant change. I caught the first splash of daffodil colour earlier in the week (scroll down the blog for that image) and I reckon there's plenty more on show by now. Get down there and check out the work completed to date. Make use of this fantastic resource...
