Remember back in the 90's when internet stocks were way up, much higher than they should have been? There was a Dot Com Bubble. Remember in 2000 when it burst? Well, that got me thinking...Right now, we're in the midst of an Energy Consumption Bubble. We're using a lot more energy than we need. I'll bet 10 years from now technology will have reached a point where we can be far more productive using far less energy. But first comes the correction.When the Dot Com Bubble burst, things looked bleak. For many, things were bad. If something like that were to happen with energy -- a sharp decline in the amount of available power -- things again would look bad, seem bleak. But then after a while we'd have adjusted and prepared ourselves to soar to newer and greater heights, on energy-efficient wings. That will be fantastic.But for us here in the present, the days of energy restructuring are still looming. When will the Bubble burst?

I just upgraded my Wordpress platform to the brand new 2.3 version. My work was quite easily done in less than 10 minutes time with the help of the Wordpress Automatic Upgrade Plugin which I recommended in “Wordpress 2.2.3 Upgrade”. It helps from the start until the end without any flaws but pelf from pelf-ism is contagious claimed that the plugin does not work for her blog so I guess there is still some problems with it but it works well with me!
I broke my promise for not being the first few testers as I have to study but at least I have done it now! Sorry… I scrolled around after the upgrade and found nothing special with it other than the new tagging system which helps yo define your posts in a more informal way than the previous “Categories” available. So you read about my Dot Com Pho with the guys at Pho Lan in Richmond, right? Well this time around, three days later I ended up reuniting with everyone again at Feenie's (which is located right next door to Lumiere--yes, I was there two days ago) after John asked a bunch of us to go eat $50 burgers. Shocked! Google just started their PageRank update a few days ago and guess what this blog has gone from a PR4 to PR5. I am unsure as to how soon that all data centers will start posting the new rankings. I have the Google tool bar and this sites ratings are reflected on it. John Chow dot Com is a blog that helps you make money online. He is offering to link to your blog if you review his blog. His site is now 7 years old, and his knowledge is evident in the level of success he is experiencing as a blogger. At the time of this writing, he boasts 3,834 feed subscribers, and more commentators than a presidential political convention. I’ve learned tons about search engine optimization (SEO), and other important web and marketing concepts during the past few weeks as a result of his offerings.
While his focus is web and tech-oriented, I often salivate over the pictures he posts of delicious restaurant meals. His food reviews offer a nice change of pace.
