Administering medication to babies is no easy task. They spit, they refuse to swallow, they do anything not to ingest the often less-than-sweet tasting drug. This is of course instinctive, and really a good thing, since it's meant to protect babies from eating anything suspicious. But it does not make giving them meds any easier. This invention, however, may well do the trick. The Medibottle is a
April 23 — A frustrated and slightly moist Lexington man went unnoticed by an automated paper towel dispenser Tuesday night in the men’s restroom at TGI Friday’s in North Platte. Simon Dumple, 45, had finished washing his hands when he attempted to utilize the motion-sensing device.
“But no towels came out,” said Dumple, a file clerk [...]

The Lighthouse tea light holder is one of designer Carina Ahlburg's latest bright ideas. The tube/tower can hold one lighted tea light on top, and several more in reserve below. You fill the Lighthouse via the opening near the top, and remove one tea light at a time through the opening at the bottom, much like any old dispenser. We like. Also check out Ms. Ahlburg's clever collection box for recycling old newspapers, that we posted on a while back.
Some time ago we posted about an especially colourful, see through Automatic Stapling Machine that bowled us over with its bold Fisher Price inspired styling and fun, deliciously geeky appeal and now we have this Auto Hole Punch and Auto Tape Dispenser to add to our collection.
When you need provisions, the Engineer's Dispenser is key. On the game, the dispenser slowly generates ammo and metal for your teammates and can also heal them, albeit much slower than a Medic. Put a couple of well-placed sentries around it and this could turn into an impenetrable wall. The Dispenser is a part of the...

At the All Candy Expo earlier this year, I happened upon this Wii Candy Dispenser protected behind a glass case and I had to stop. It was at the Au’some Candies booth along with a bunch of their other Nintendo-themed candy. The company showed it to me behind the glass so I never actually got to touch it but I did take the picture you see above. It looks like it dispenses blue disc candy from the top… maybe using one of the controller buttons? Perhaps these will be easier to find than a real Wii (curse you Nintendo)!
Au’some Candies has a few other new Nintendo candies coming out soon too. One of them is the Mario Kart DS Candy Container seen at left. It’s a stack of black tires about 6 inches high and it’s filled with candy. On top is a removable kick-ass Mario Kart on top about the size of a Matchbox car. Freakin sweet! (I have one and it’s great!), These are in stores now.

Every kid should have a pooping polar bar jelly bean dispenser. It looks like a cute polar bear but when your press the bears rear it will poop a butterscotch or cola flavored jelly bean. It is advertised as the “Sub-zero poopin hero.” With global warming and all polar bears might face extinction. I am glad we have this item to share with future generations so they too can remember the majesty of the polar bear.
Many of us have dogs, and surely enough we do regular purchases of pet supplies for their everyday needs such as dog food, shampoos and anti-tick powder among others. From the pet supply store, it is best that all your purchases on such products be kept and stored away on a safe place.
Store pet supply on secure and safe containers
Pet supplies are quite expensive so it is best that we keep them in secure containers to preserve their quality. Dog food for example should be stored in secure and safe containers; oftentimes insect such as ants and even pests like cockroaches can reach unprotected pet food and infest them. Your pet dog itself might mess up any bag of dog food that is left open and uncovered on a corner.
To assure proper storage of your pet food and other pet supply, you may buy storage containers from most pet store. Just make sure that you buy the size and number of containers that are appropriate for your storage needs.
Almost every pet supply store likewise sells food

This item seems perfect for me. I am lazy and I like to drink. The Lazy Drinker is a computer controlled cocktail dispensing system. I don’t know how well this works but I would like to try it. They come fully assembled or as a kit. It can hold 16 ingredients and a computer mixes the ingredients so you have perfectly measured and blended cocktails each and every time. The drink database has over 5,000 drinks. It uses Co2 and pressured gas to mix the drinks. What a fantastic invention. I would like to hear from someone who has tried this to see how it works.

As our catch phrase denotes, we like nothing better than to add a little spice into the mix of gadgets and cutting edge technology here at TFTS by posting about the more curious items we come across whilst researching material and the moment we came across these curious devices we knew we just had to offer a (baby) heads up about them here.
Designed to be worn from around the neck, the somewhat disturbing Sava-O whistle – as pictured above - features a baby’s head (?) whose mouth will open whenever the whistle is blown.
And if the Sava-O whistle doesn’t quite do it for you, how about this key ring pill dispenser which will allow you to carry any required medication around with you with access to your pills being (yes, you guessed it) via the baby’s mouth.
Whether the fact that you’re having to take medication is in any way related to you having purchased this bizarre device in the first place remains wholly open to question.
The Sava-O Baby Head Whistle retails for ¥780 ($
I know that i will try to avoid any and every bathroom that has one of these installed in it. If i want to use the whole roll of TP, i will This is just wrong on so many levels. I read about a study that said that you need at least 9-12 sheets to be sanitary. This thing is only supposed to give out 5 at a time! here is the whole story.By Brian TraceyMSNBCGizmo issues a few tissuesThis may be the last straw for people who think technology has eliminated every last bit of personal privacy: A toilet-paper dispenser that limits the issue of tissues.A year in the works, the electronic dispenser is being rolled out to the masses by Kimberly-Clark Corp. as it seeks to capture more of the $1 billion away-from-home toilet paper market. The company believes most people will be satisfied with just five sheets — and use 20 percent less toilet paper in the process."Most people will take the amount given," says Richard Thorne, director of the company's washroom business. When it comes to ways to entwine your life with beer on a more consistent basis, this has got to be up there with the great ones. As much as we don’t want to admit it, we are growing old - quickly. If we want sports to remain in our lives, those such as basketball, football and soccer are going to have to take a back seat. And like manna from heaven, along comes golf. Both a way to get ahead in your career and be involved in an activity that still require a “ball” of some sort. Fortunately for us beer drinkers, golf doesn’t require much running, or even moving of any kind. And a sport that doesn’t require running (see bocce ball, horseshoes, bowling), requires beer. And lets be honest, that stupid drinking cart never comes around often enough…
You can own this beauty for a mere $39.95

Do you love gumballs but don’t have the room for the floor stand or tabletop variety? Or are you just looking to display your favorite candy like a work of art? Coming in at around 12 inches, the Gum-Wall has the appearance of a flattened gumball machine mounted against a mirror and stuck into a picture frame.
The machine is fairly flat, and it appears that you can only add one layer of gumballs, but that still should add up to enough to last you quite some time (and it’s refillable). This would go great in a kids room or you could put it in your cubicle and be everyone’s new favorite coworker.

Rather than try and explain this myself, I’ll quate the original video poster…
“This is a project that me and my friends built for school (UC Berkeley). Its made of lego mindstorms, scissors, and some scrap metal. With all things considered, I think it turned out alright. Not only does it fold your paper for you, it also cuts it. It would be the perfect accessory for a fancy, high-tech, Japanese bathroom! This video shows two test runs; the first run works well, while the second one could have gone a little smoother.”
Now, I know it’s only a prototype thing for a school project but I still can’t help just thinking Why?! Do I actually need/want something to fold and cut my toilet paper for me? I mean, it’s only for wiping my arse with after all. It is very clever though, I’ll give them that, and the Japanese probably will fall for it hook, line and stinker (geddit?). The next evolution from this in terms of labour saving devices though
For my B-day my Mom got me this Conair Heated Lotion Dispenser, $21.99. I am about as obsessed with lotion as I am with fashion--I am constantly putting it on! I have never even heard about Heated Lotion Dispensers before! It's a really great idea though because lotion can be kind of cold when you put it on. So I plugged it in earlier to see how it worked. It heats it up, but not quite the type of heat I had been expecting--and I even had it on the highest heat setting. It only heats up the lotion stored in the pump to keep it the lotion from drying out. So that means you can only get one squirt of warm lotion because you have to wait for the next squirt to heat up. The other bad thing is that it has to be plugged in to work, which means it has an eyesore of a cord. So all in all, it is a great concept but it is not as refined as it should be (I would nix the cord). Take your $21.99 and go buy something at Forever21!Photo Credit: Ulta
