Many people ask me why I use corel painter rather than Photoshop. I'm sure many other painter users gets asked this as well. I always answer short and simple to those people if they have tried corel painter, and sadly the answer is usually "no". Then i follow up with giving them a link to download it and try it out for themselves. I have always wondered why photoshop has become such a popular program, when corel painter exists. In my opinion photoshop should be used for photo editing, and not for painting, as it cant simulate real life brushes as well. The new version of corel painter is really a brilliant piece of software people, and is strongly recommended. Also I recommend going to the corel painter gallery, to get inspired by the possibilities that are within corel painter.

I keep hoping and hoping and I forget about reality.I thought that I could be sure that my dad would show up at my 30th birthday party but apperantly I was wrong. It's been a mixed day really and a slight loss of 0.5%. I started the day by laying Sergio at 1.5 with a liability of 1% (winning 2%). I think Sergio is a great player but pressure is a funny thing and with the amount of class in the field I felt at 1.5 he was worth a small lay. I left that going for a while and I concentrated on racing.River Thames got me off to a lovely start and I was 3% up and feeling confident about my next lay of Celtic Change. Whilst I'm his least favourite fan, it appears he rode an excellent race on Celtic Change to get him up to win. I lost 4.5% on that race leaving me 1.5% down for the racing. I'd been monitoring the golf and had planned if Sergio hit 3.0 (2/1) I would trade out and leave myself with a green screen. I backed him for 1% and I have a 1% profit regardless if he goes onto win or lose. The secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has admitted he was "taken aback" by Graham Ford's decision to turn down the chance to coach India's national team.
Niranjan Shah told the Hindu newspaper he expected Ford to leave his post as director of cricket after the BCCI offered him the prized job.
Ford said on Monday his decision had been the right one "for me and my family" but Shah admitted he was "extremely disappointed" by the popular South African's decision.
"I can tell you that he did not make any demands. He neither asked for his own support staff, nor did he ask for a two-year term. He appeared happy with what was given to him. The only doubt was about `when' he would join the team, not 'whether'."

I was able to wait a few months for agloco to launch. I was happy to promote to get an initial downline of 300+ because the agloco administration said it would launch months ago. Now all thats happening is that people are loosing interest and slowly beginning to drift elseware. Every email I receive is just more and more promises of ‘launching next month’, and excuses. I read the guy’s website who has 20k+ referrals in agloco… I think its all very well having an amazing amount of referrals, but what use is it if you can’t even earn.
One thing that really shocked and disappointed me was that the last email update said that even when the viewbar was released to all members - We wouldn’t see any money for over 2 months!!! Its logical in a business sense, but people will only stand around waiting for so long. Could agloco flop? Its possible.

I waited all night, and I waited all morning for the newest release of Ubuntu. I was hanging out on #ubuntu-release-party channel on freenode. I was so excited! When I got home from classes it was finally released. I started the torrent… I found my nearest mirror… The servers were being clobbered. By the time I finally finished with the upgrade, I couldn’t wait to hit the restart button. Immediately upon reboot…. Wham! I got an xorg error. I spent the next 40 minutes working on the command line trying to get my ATI driver working. My last resort finally got me into the GUI, but only on a generic driver. It turns out that I was stuck in the middle of a partial upgrade. I’m finishing the upgrade now, but my Internet connection is capped. I hope these last 215 packages fixes the problem. I seem to always have ATI driver problems. Why can’t they just work? Why can’t everybody just be linux-friendly? 17 more minutes. I just want my Feisty :(
