How come the invitations and announcements of today are so much cooler than they were 20 years ago?
In just a few weeks my husband and I are going to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. It's amazing that this much time has gone by already as it seriously (!) feels like it's only been about 8 or 9 years at most. Although I'd love to be whisked away for a romantic cruise to celebrate, I think a more realistic outlook is that perhaps we'll hold a small reception here with friends and family.

      Water Cooler Moment: Gossip Girl
Well this was the episode we've all been waiting for: the dropping of "the gay bomb". I actually really liked tonight's episode and even the standard boring sub plots of the parental units couldn't bore me. We all knew Serena's brother was the gay one...it was kind of an anti-climactic bomb, but it was a nice twist that Jenny was un-wittingly playing Upper East Side Hag with a boy named "Asher". 'I'm glad the war between Blair and Jenny ended. Jenny had been snowballing towards being the most annoying, bratty, c*nt on television. I don't believe in hitting your kids, but if i had to listen to her whip out the world's tinniest violin and sing the world's saddest song with her harpy voice, I would've killed myself. This whole war had me siding with Blair and I've actually grown to like her c

Cooler market tests their staying power
April 19, 2008 Cooler market tests their staying power THEY flock in in droves during the property boom and slink out when the market is quiet. Months after the dramatic market upswing last year, the industry had an estimated 30,000 agents, at least double the number in 2005. But these days, opportunists hoping to make a pile by signing up as property agents are getting scarcer, because the slump in the private home sales market is making it more difficult to close deals. Property agencies say that the bumper recruitment figures experienced last year in the red-hot market have given way to fewer sign-ups but recruits with more staying power. ERA Singapore, which grew by its fastest rate last year with 200 new recruits every month, signs up only about 180 new agents a month now. PropNex see

Of course, just about every other component in a typical PC is enhanced or somehow improved on a regular basis, but chassis haven't really changed all that much in the last few years. Aesthetically they have gotten more pleasing and diverse, new materials are being used, and there have been some acoustic improvements mostly due to the use of larger, low-RPM fans. However, take away the fans and fascias and underneath most chassis are pretty similar. In fact, it's not uncommon for the same chassis to be sold as numerous different models, just with different bezels on the front. The folks at Cooler Master thouggh have made some significant strides as of late, in an effort to differentiate their products.
