Since 2002 Neil Stanley Higgs (owner of Mr. Modchips) has been distributing and selling illegally chipped games consoles which have apparently made him over £1 million pounds. Now the 39-year-old who lives in the Bristol area (UK) has been convicted and found guilty of 26 offences. These offences include 3 counts of “advertising, supplying and selling modification chips” which have given gamers the ability to play illegally copied games on their consoles.
