Land Rover has very cleverly done the same in the Land Rover LRX concept car. Land Rover LRX is a new concept car (that probably won’t ever see the production line) but will definitely boast something (a full-fledge iPhone integration) that is bound to attract a lot of people.
It is hard to say whether the car will only have an iPhone slot or whether the iPhone will be electronically connected to the car thus controlling all its functions but if ever there is to be an iPhone integrated car it wouldn’t be so much amazing unless the luxurious car is fully controlled through the iPhone (which is more than just an ideal approach right now)

The RiN concept from Toyota is a vehicle which focuses on making the lives of the driver and passengers, and actually everyone around it, more healthy and stress-free.
The exterior design of the Toyota RiN is intended to blend into the natural environment. The green glass and organic forms of the headlights, taillights and rear side windows are influenced by a type of tall-growing Japanese tree, the Yakusugi.
Access to the Toyota RiN is through sliding doors which feature a lower window pane which allow the the occupants to view nature at ground level. The headlights utilize a light distribution system that take into consideration oncoming pedestrians and vehicles and reduce glare.
The Toyota RiN concept features heated seats which also help maintain good back posture, image displays matched to the drivers mood, an oxygen-level conditioner and a humidifier. The green glass helps reduce the amount of ultraviolet and infrared light entering the cabin.
The biggest downside to the Toyo
The Mazda Premacy Cool Style concept is a customized version of the Premacy with its exterior painted in a luminescent black and chrome parts which appear to sparkle in one focused point on the front and rear. The Mazda Premacy Cool Style also features a black leather interior.
The Mazda Premacy Cool Style concept car will be showcased at next year’s Tokyo Auto Salon.
At the next year’s Tokyo Auto Show, the Mazdaspeed Axela MS will also be part of the Mazdaspeed line-up. The Mazdaspeed Axela MS concept is based on the Mazda3 that received a full body-kit with big airducts and a set of new rims.
The interior of the Mazdaspeed Axela MS includes a two-tone set of sport seats and a two-tone steering wheel. Unfortunately no information has been given whether or not the performance modifications are also present.
Audi will be using the upcoming North American International Auto Show
in Detroit to show off a ‘stunning’ new concept car. The German luxury
brand also plans to have a world premiere of a new model. Both these
cars will be unveiled during Audi’s press conference at the show, which
will be broadcast worldwide.
While Audi has provided no indication as to what each car will be, it
is believed that the concept will be based on the R8. According to our
previous report, Audi expects to release a V10-powered R8 (possibly
known as the RS8) around September next year, and a preview of this
would certainly help in allocating quite a few cars before they’ve even
gotten off the production line. However with a R8 convertible set for
2009, it could be either one.
As for the other car, a facelifted A3 is due to be available in June
2008, making it most likely that this will be Audi’s world premiere
model.

The Toyota Hi-CT is a city car concept which had been revealed at the previous 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
In Toyota’s words the Hi-CT concept is designed to deliver a new “coolness” inspired by “the thinking and lifestyles of youth”.
For a small car the styling of the Toyota Hi-CT is chunky and bold. The high sides and short windows exaggerate the truck-like design. At the rear of the Toyota Hi-CT concept there is a removable trunk and a deck where surfboards, bicycles and other equipment can be stowed.
Powered by a hybrid drivetrain, the funky Toyota Hi-CT uses a 1.5 liter engine and an electric motor. The under-floor mounted battery can be recharged from the mains. The location of the battery has the effect of raising the drivers position giving better visibility, while also lowering the vehicles center of gravity. The Hi-CT is also fitted with an 100V socket which allows power from the battery to be used for any electrical device.
General Motors Corp. (GM) has announced the opening of a new design studio which will be a dedicated space for their next generation of electric vehicles. The studio contains clay and vinyl models of Volt, which was unveiled earlier this year.

Featuring a cut-down speedster windshield, a roll bar, openings in the door lowers and a ‘hose-out’ interior, the 2008 Jeep Renegade concept is an eco-friendly off-roader.
With propulsion system is combination between a 40 mile lithium-ion battery pack and a BLUETEC diesel engine, giving the 2008 Jeep Renegade a 110 miles per gallon fuel consumption average.

This combination of eco and emotion combines a 292hp DOHC 3.5-liter V6 (based on the Lexus GS 450h) with a 650V electric motor to deliver a total of over 400 hp.
The Toyota FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept car is being hailed as the next Supra in the auto manufacturer’s lineup.
Suitable for treehuggers with a need for speed, the Toyota FT-HS can flat out haul with 0 - 60 mph acceleration coming in at around 4 seconds.

Nissan, one of the top Japanese car makers, has taken a futuristic all-electric mini car to the recently concluded Frankfurt Motor Show as it hopes that it will appeal to the future drivers. The Japanese car maker said that the Mixim, with a hatchback design, rakish styling, and gull-wing doors should attract gamers and other young people who spend more of their time on computers than thinking about cars. The Mixim is also a way to show that electric cars do not have to be boring.
The MIxim has an unusual setting as it has a 3+1 seating arrangement and so this svelte coupe puts the driver right up in the front of a cabin that’s fronted by a wrap-around windscreen, which aims to reflect the shape of a helmet visor. The dashboard and controls are also designed to be familiar to gamers.
Nissan has also equipped this electric car with some of its Nissan parts like its newly-developed “Super Motor” electric generator/motor rated at 82 horsepower to make its performance more appealing
Haven’t really seen a lot of Opal lately, but their latest automobile, known as the Flextreme Mini MiniVan Concept is turning heads for it’s out of the box thinking. First, there’s the hybrid powerplant, which by itself isn’t very groundbreaking, in fact, it’s all the rage. It’s similar to the Chevy Volt, and at least the European model charges the batteries with a small diesel motor rather than gasoline. It’s round trip range on one charge of the lithium-ion batteries is about 62 miles, with the diesel motor engaging to recharge them.However, when used together with the diesel motor, the mileage skyrockets to just short of 500 and makes for about 53kW of power. That at least makes for less frequent charges. It would be a drag if you had to go the gas station 3 or 4 times a day, which has always been the drawback with a purely electrical concept.The fossil-fuel motor is a 1.3L turbodiesel with intercooler and runs between 1,500rpm and 1,800rpm. The car is actually a 4-door coupe made of the highest quality material and with a perfect finish. Ok well ever since Audi slapped every single automotive company in the face with the TT, companies having been shitting bricks trying to even remotely create something as classic as the TT (the only car in the New York Metropolitan museum) and all have failed. The VW GTI W12 650 concept car is powered by a 6.0L bi-turbo W12 that pumps out 650hp and 530 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic, with an estimated top speed of 201mph and a 0-62mph in around 3.7 seconds. Lower and wider than a stock GTI, the body retains the production car's doors, hood and lights, but otherwise it's all new. A number of intakes and a redesigned C-pillar help feed air to the 12-cylinder behemoth supplying the go-power. To keep the car planted to the tarmac, VW didn't want to use a massive spoiler to generate down force. As such, the car's carbon-fiber roof acts as a giant diffuser that funnels air under the small spoiler at its trailing edge. In summary, the whole thing is a big exercise in the awesome. The interior is Alcantara leather and fire extinguishers are integrated into the glove compartment.
