This year should be no different and the top defensive ends were recently on display at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine. Here are some of my observations.Vernon Gholston from Ohio State was a man among boys. Not only did he look the part weighing in at 6’ 3” 266 pounds, but he was solid muscle. Gholston is as strong as an ox lifting 225 pounds 37 times, which was the best performance at the combine, actually tying 313 pound offensive tackle Jake Long for first place. Gholston also displayed excellent speed, quickness and leaping ability. He ran his forty at 4.67 with a 35.5” vertical jump and a 10.05 broad jump.Chris Lon

With the flower’s selection active, I chose the move tool in the toolbox, and, pressing the Alt key, dragged it to the fern image. You don’t have to press the Alt key when moving an image from one window to another. Photoshop will automatically make it a copy, not a cut. However, I have butterfingers, and feel better if I press Alt in case I drop the image before I get clear of the original window. Silly, I know. Below, is the moved image. It doesn’t look too bad, but would benefit from a softer merge with the ferns. If you drop your image onto the wrong spot after you’ve moved it, just select the move tool, and reposition it. I chose Drop Shadow from the menu. You can also choose Layer > Layer Style > Drop Shadow. Either way, you will open the drop shadow’s dialog box. To add a very soft shadow, I used settings of : Blend Mode - Multiply Opacity - 39 % Distance - 21 % Spread - 21 % Size - 65 px You should use the Preview option in the dialog box to find the best settings for your image. Suppose you added a feather to your selection in hopes of avoiding harsh edges when you moved the image onto its new background. If the image you are moving is on a background which is very similar to the destination image’s background, then it’s okay to apply a feather to the selection. However, if the backgrounds are different, you’ll have problems. For example, I’ve added a three pixel feather to the flower, and moved it onto the ferns, below. If you look closely at the lower left quarter of the picture, you’ll see a dark rim around the flower which came from its original background.Below is a magnified image of the edge on the left side of the flower. Had the original background been a different color, the problem would have been even more pronounced. However, even with very similar backgrounds, the shading can be different, or a line or texture can be carried over on
Quick mask fills the nonselected area of the image with red semitransparent color that can be edited with the painting tools. Use black to add to the mask, and white to remove it. To set your background and foreground colors to black and white, click on the default colors icon in the toolbox. It’s the two little overlapping squares in the lower left corner of the illustration below. Click the switch colors icon, which is the little double headed arrow in the upper right corner to switch your background, and foreground colors from black to white. I magnified the image as much as was necessary to get a really good look at every part of the flowers edge when painting on the mask. Use the zoom tool, or the Navigator palette and try a 300 or 400 % magnification. Make sure the paintbrush, or whichever tool you use has its Opacity set to 100 %, in its options bar. Choo
There are several ways to go about combining images in Photoshop. I’ll show you the way that is easiest to understand. I am going to put the peony, shown below, on top of the maidenhair ferns, shown at the bottom of the page. Both images are at the same resolution. Be sure this is the case whenever you move parts of one image onto another. If you don’t know your image’s resolution, click on its title bar to make it the active window, and then choose Image > Image Size. The resolution is shown in the Document Size part of that dialog box. Without making any changes, click OK, or Cancel to close the box.The first step is to make a good, precise selection all around the image you want to move. Unfortunately it was to no avail as the previously undefeated Argentinians went down 2-1 in Bogota. Messi does most of the work but Riquelme sets him on his way. ( I don't care if I have to reformat) I backed up everything to drive 2 Hey Ted - This one is easy as pie. (Actually I don't know how easy pie is - lets say its easy as ummm... Its Just Real Easy!) Just start the machine up with the Windows CD in the drive and boot to it. Start the installation and when it shows you the partitions for drive one - you should see all your partitions. Delete the three of them and create one single partition and let it do its thing. You might want to disconnect the second drive while you do it to be on the safe side. I'm mostly a fan of free-form FPS. I loved the idea STALKER presented (and almost pulled off perfectly) of a huge world (divided up into squares!!!) where you could pick and choose what quests and jobs to undertake. That said this type of approach opens up a list of bugs the length of your arm! You just can’t be sure what the player will do, and in what order!
