This is the new promo trailer for the forthcoming Mortal Kombat game. And that dude dishing the beat down in the trailer was indeed Batman. The Subspace emissary mode is making the Adventure mode from the previous Smash Bros. game look like rubbish. 2 player co-op, cinematics, a mini epic storyline to go with it all - Nintendo went all out for this mode. Production values for this game are off the charts. Check out part two of the chapter "When worlds collide". In light of the events at VT, Fox has decided to pull the new episode of Bones so that it won't offend or upset anyone. Apparently, this Fox show has a plot that is too closely related to reality. For those of you that don't watch Bones, the story centers around a forensic anthropologist and an FBI agent that solve murders from bones they find out in the world. In this week's episode they find some bones underneath some bleachers on a college campus. They soon discover that the bleachers did not kill this person and, thus, the mystery ensues. In my mind, the similarity stops with the fact that it involves a college student. I don't see how a fictitious murdered college basketball player is like a real sniper murdering real people. But what do I know?This isn't the first show featuring David Boreanaz that has been preempted because fiction collided with reality. Well, look who has been cast on the new season of Survivor - it's none other than Uncle Nick's gorgeous sister, Rita Verreos! People magazine is the first to jump on the connection: Before Survivor began filming at the end of October 2006, Rita and Nick had a talk about "reality" life. "I have not asked for advice," says Rita, "but he has told me to just be myself. He said the aftermath of the attention could be overwhelming. Rivals XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio have announced there intentions of merging to create a giant satellite radio. Their combined market value is approximately $13 billion. It does not have FCC approval as of yet so it's not a sure thing. DirecTV and DISH Network attempted a satellite monopoly merger which was shot down.
