My theory would be that the dude is actuallya Lost climber from the regions of Northern Asia.Who simply was very big and tall , and just let his old white beard grow...Now there are some theories that aim to explain his rare blueness.I just go on and say, it´s because he´s lost that he´s so blue.
By Mark Spoor It was kind of a weird week in the FedExCup standings. You see, usually the week’s biggest mover is easy to spot — just look for the guy that raised the trophy on Sunday. Not the case this time. However, you could argue that K.J. Choi’s move up the standings after his win at the AT&T National was huge, even if it wasn’t big in terms of numbers. What do I mean? Read on my fellow golf nuts.Last Week: AT&T National, Bethesda, Md. | This Week: John Deere Classic, Silvis, Ill. more…

I know this usually goes
in our Wednesday "Number Crunch" feature, but here’s a fact that could win you a bet next week:
How many FedExCup points did Jay Williamson get for finishing second in the Travelers Championship?
Cue the
Jeopardy
music.
None.
You see, Williamson is not a PGA TOUR member. He is a Nationwide Tour member, and only PGA TOUR members are eligible to receive FedExCup points. He does, however, still get the $648,000 in prize money he earned.

Hello, chums. Again, Ted - the author of this drivel - reporting for duty at a second home for the weekend. We started our Spider Man series below with a look at some athletes who should be nailing Kirsten Dunst. Here's Part II: The Best Climbers.Michael JordanIf all you gave us to exist for the rest of our life was a clip reel of Michael Jordan dunks from games called by Marv Albert and a never-ending supply of Harpoon IPA, we think that might be as close to heaven as one can find on this Earth.Kenny WalkerIt's not just the flat top - although he gets extra points for that. It's the air. This guy legitimately probably got higher than Michael Vick in a pre-security-checkpoint airport bathroom, and with half the effort. He had a couple of throwdowns with style and panache, and his overall climber score has to be helped by the fact that he really isn't relevant for any other reason - unlike Jordan, who, ya know, has that whole "best ever" thing going on.Dominique WilkinsTrue story: on

PORTLAND, Ore. — For three climbers stranded on Mount Hood, survival came down to a live transmitter and a warm dog.
Covering up with two sleeping bags, a tarp and a black Labrador named Velvet as winds howled around them at up to 70 mph, two women and a man beamed signals to rescuers who were able to fix their precise location.
“The dog probably saved their lives,” said Erik Brom, a member of the Portland Mountain Rescue team, who described the wind in the canyon where the climbers were holed up as “hellacious.”
You know I love this kind of story. Not only are the hikers rescued, but much credit is given to Velvet, the lab (OK, it helped they had a signal transmitter, too…..). I believe it about the dog, though. If she is anything like our dog, having her lay against you is like have a blob of hot molten lava pressing into the back of your knees.
And, yet again, we have an example of why you SHOULD be permitted
