Early stage in situ breast cancer has always been the easiest to underwrite for life insurance, although most companies still levy an extra charge for 1-3 years after completion of treatment. Now one company has separated from the pack and has taken a bold stance, finally acknowledging that survival (mortality) rate is really what this is all about, and stage 1 or stage 2 in situ breast cancer have extremely high survival rates post lumpectomy. This is great news because in the life insurance business, if one company has a good idea, other companies are sure to follow. With this change, given the criteria above, better than standard rates can be within reach as little as six months post treatment. This now puts breast cancer into the same underwriting pool as early stage and low grade prostate cancer. Bottom line. Life insurance underwriting all comes down to mortality experience. As studies show vast improvements in cancer survivability, underwriting will follow.

Jack Roush, Jr.’s finished his first full season of KONI Challenge in the fourth place. He was joined by co-drivers Colin Braun and Dean Martin at Virginia International Raceway. According to reports done by grand-am.com, the team was the highest-finishing Mustang in the competition. Roush had to learn the racetrack on the circuit and learn the performance of the No. 59 ROUSH Performance Mustang on a road course and in race traffic. Although Roush benefited from competing in the same event last year that prepares him in this year’s season. In fact, he beat his previous record for seven more seconds. Braun, a new member of Roush Fenway Racing gained experience in this competition. Reports say that this was Braun’s first time behind the wheel of a GS division car, but this did not stop him from acquiring the skills to maneuver the slower, heavier cars around the track. Braun had a good start but soon got some trouble with his vehicle, but he did not let this stop him. Tire trouble

Just about to got bed on Friday night and switch the tv off when Skysports jolted me back with the statement that Arsenal have signed Lassana Diarra from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee!! Why is it that no amounts are ever mentioned with transfers in or out of the club! Anyway, absolutely amazed that Chelsea have released the player even if was in the last year of his contract and,even more staggered that they released him knowing that Wenger has always rated the player and signing him would strengthen our squad. I know, like most Arsenal fans,that I felt Wenger should have signed a proper left sided winger but maybe (cross fingers) Rosicky and Da Silva will get more used to filling that left sided role as the season progresses - time will tell!  Signing Diarra will be like signing two more players because, as the official club site confirms, he is able to play in midfield or fullback positions. I also remember seeing a quote from somewhere that France sees Diarra and Diaby as a future
