I am sorry to inform you that we have had a death in the garden. By entering this world a just a little sprout started from a packet of seeds just a couple of months ago. They spent most of their life being nurtured in the comfortable surroundings of the PC grow box our poor tomoto plants did not survive the harshness freakish winter storm we which occurred weeks after our supposed last frost date. The story is set in the end of the 21st century when colonization of other planets fails because of repeated mistakes from the past by humans. The remains of this colonization era are ruins of splendid space cities and giant robots, called Shells, used for the heaviest work.The only entertainment for a failing and bored society is the TV broadcast called Battle Rage, where convicts armored with Shells fight each other in order to achieve money, freedom and respect—not necessarily in that order.
This sounds like what a lot of us wanted transformers to be like, an Unreal Tournament with huge robots… So far the graphics do look a little lacking but hopefully that will be sorted.

The latest game in the FlatOut series has gone gold and we’ll be able to witness the destructive racing mayhem soon enough as it hits store shelves on June 22nd.
Rob Noble, Empire European Marketing Manager seems hyped enough: “It’s done! All the hard work is over and FlatOut Ultimate Carnage is ready to hit the primetime and to take its rightful place as the number one destruction racer on the market. This is one game you need to check out for its amazing action, spectacular visuals and just superb action racing!”
I remember playing the original FlatOut for PC and being absolutely blown away by it. That game had everything, great visuals, physics, 50 meter jumps, it was frickin’ insane. Hopefully Ultimate Carnage will be no different. The demo for FlatOut Ultimate Carnage should be hitting Marketplace but unfortunately we don’t have a date or time at this time. I've had a great response from fans of Halloween Harry/Alien Carnage over its re-release as freeware.So, while people are excited about Harry I thought I'd talk a bit about some other Harry games that never made it to market.Of course there was a direct sequel called Zombie Wars released in 1996, but before that we kicked around a number of other ideas for games to put Harry in. Often times we mocked up prototypes to test out ideas - from Sidewinder Sally (a Harry spin off) to Halloween Harry: Undead (a 3D multi-player game) to the potentially very cool Lunch Break Commandos.Lunch Break CommandosNow, I forget if this was inspired by the LucasArts Indiana Jones Desktop adventures, or whether it was inspired by the same thing that inspired LucasArts - but the game was designed as a "casual" game you could play during your lunch break. A rather lengthy document detailing EA's financials has highlighted the fact that a new Need For Speed game is set for release at some point in 2007. When Pro-G contacted EA no other details on the game were available. The report also boasted of 15 wholly owned new titles set to be released in the next year, including another Sims game and five original releases: Army of One, SKATE, Playground, Boogie, and an unnamed Spielberg game for the Wii. The publisher's entire sports line up will be back, along with licensed releases like Harry Potter, The Simpsons and Warhammer. Despite apparent confidence in the licence, no SPORE games are planned for the coming year.

My mom made some bunny shaped Easter cookies for the kids. Joseph's had frosting all over it but Elle's only had frosting where the bunny's eyes, ears and tail were. Elle discovered very quickly that her favorite parts of the cookie were the frosted part. Today she ate one of the cookies and this is what was lef when she was done.Poor little bunny. Sooo...we're on our way to Costco (previous visits, click here) and waiting at a red light to cross the street. To our immediate left, there is a huge truck turning right. However, at the last minute this guy on a motorbike sneaks up and is waiting to cross the street--directly in the blindspot of the truck!The truck starts to make the right hand turn but the guy in the motorbike is too close...and is unable to move away in time!
