It’s been a crazy past two weeks and I’ll definitely be explaining the drama in my blog, but…let’s just say that it’s all good in the hood and I’ve never felt so liberated in my life.
Tomorrow night, Incog and I leave for Miss. to see his brother. I’m super excited. I hope to have lots of photos to share with you guys of our little adventure. We haven’t been on an adventure since….since….the Seattle home hunt last year. Woo hoo!

If I don't watch out, I'm going to turn this into a craft blog. Ack! With the cold weather coming on strong I've been sitting by our new fireplace with my fuzzy pink slippers and knitting away like a crazy lady. I'll have to post other photos a bit later . . .I found this pattern for the world's cutest dragon scarf at Knitting Minnesota in a PDF file and just finished it. Get a load of the fuzzy fiery streams coming from his mouth. Could life get cuter than this?The directions are all there on the PDF file, but I made mine much longer than the pattern called for. Measure it against your child to make sure it's long enough. I also stuck with one green yarn and pink for the mouth rather than two different greens for the body and red for the mouth--just personal preference and a daughter infatuated with all things pink.Oh! There seems to be a great deal of confusion these days over the proper way to breathe while running or jogging.
According to the text Physiology of Sport and Exercise by Wilmore and Costill the need to breathe increases in direct proportion to the intensity of work. A mild workload such as brisk walking prompts expansion of the lungs and deeper breathing. As the work becomes more difficult, the rate of breathing also increases.
With the exception of conditions such as asthma, breathing should not limit your ability to run or perform exercise, even at hard efforts. As you can see this “Robosaurus” created 17 years ago by Monster Robots in Southern California. The 40-foot-high, 31-ton behemoth quickly became famous for crushing cars and breathing fire all over the country(which you can see in the iamge above), before dwelling in the land of obscurity. Apparently, it’s current owner or owners are finally sick of burning and crushing all manner of large things. Robosaurus will be auctioned off during the annual Barrett-Jackson car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona between January 12 to 20.
