So basically I get yelled at on a regular basis "Why don't you blog more!?!" Well first thing is nothing really that interesting happens in my life so there's not much to write about. The other reason is no one really reads my blog, and the third is...well I'm not so great at putting thoughts into words. I'm much better at video blogs or podcasts many of you remember can 'o bacon or the Magical Trevor video. With SocialSpark taking up so much of my time it's been really hard to find time to focus on anything else creative. I've pretty much put it all in SocialSpark. So today, I've got a secret surprise for you all. A BRAND NEW VIDEO!!! So comment it up if you enjoy it but please don't spoil it for others!

Blogged.com is a new interactive blog directory that officially launched today. On the surface, it seems to look similar to Blog Catalog or Bloghub; however, once you begin to explore the site, it reveals the potential to be something more than a typical blog directory. One key difference is that most of the blogs have been reviewed and rated by "professional editors." These editors apparently use specific criteria to help filter out spam (or scam) blogs and provide readers with some good leads. The ratings are based on "Frequency of Updates, Relevance of Content, Site Design, and Writing Style."The About Us page says that the site is primarily designed for blog readers, as opposed to blog authors. I'm not sure if this is a realistic assertion, as the majority of blog readers that I've met

Every morning, I start my day right by checking my money making programs and how much I made overnight. My modest but fruitful earnings would usually be enough to make my day but not today. My Blog Got Featured On Mindanao Bloggers! Its something new for me because with the last four months of blogging, I focused more on money making strategies and forgot all about the essence of blogging. Sure, im doing fairly well in making money online but blogging doesnt stop there at all, im now off and try to make more blogging friends. Afterall, friendship is more precious than money. (naks!)Again, I am sincerely honored to be featured on mindanao bloggers. Special thanks to blogie and the rest of my amigos and amigas (not referring to ants of course. lol) in mindanao bloggers!Uswag Mindanao!
Three days ain't that bad... or is it? I spent the weekend idling, watching anime, dreaming and plotting the demise of all the stupid people in the world.
I've been dreaming about Christmas and all the "toys" that come along with the season, unfortunately for me I'll have to buy my own gifts so I've been busy dreaming about a new cam, an iPod Touch, a laptop, a new cellphone and a high end gaming PC. Feed free to by me anyone of these ^_^.

Gordon has giving me his award for Blog of the Year! I am honoured and grateful, it's always good to hear positive feedback about my site. Special shout out to Leon who was also mentioned by Gordon as a great blog, although Leon's latest post about Professor Dumbledore from Harry Potter is a little...um...disturbing -_-. Taylor's recently went on a photo expedition and returned with some great pictures, I look forward to him helping me to sharpen my photo capturing skills once I manage to grab that Sony Cybersho

Blogging is meant to be fun, right? Most of the time it is but, are you ever:Overwhelmed by the amount of work your blog itself creates.Feel stressed trying to keep up with all the social networking you feel that you have to do?Worried that your posts are good enough, your site is designed well enough, you are running out of ideas ....Concerned you are missing out on some new trend. If you are keen to increase readership and gain recognition in the blogging world, as most of us are to some extent, there are many things we are advised to do. When you are not blogging your mind may be filled with thoughts of having to blog daily, answer comments, comment on other blogs .... and then you have to spend the time actually doing it.With the advent of all the new social networking tools it is sometimes hard to keep up. It was simpler (although probably less effective) when the main things you had to do to get your blog noticed was to submit to blog directories and search engines, make sure
CancerI know people die. I've heard about it in movies and I read about it in the newspaper, but I've never seen it. I don't know if it really does happen... I suppose it does. To pass by a blog where someone was... to sense a life that is no longer. To read the thoughts of someone who knew it was coming... I have no words.I hate the fact that I will never meet most of my online friends in the physical world. If someone died and the only way they could communicate afterwards was through the internet, it would not feel so different to online chatting. We would sense their spirit, we may even get a ghostly avatar or image. Bodies are great but over-rated... they break down, they die. they rely on chemicals and organic fuel. I've had to move away from people I care about, and even that feels like death. That's life - random, bittersweet, full of sorrow and euphoria, and just fucking alive. It's not always funny and I sometimes simply don't get the joke.No comments on this post....

Things have settled down 'round here. Wonderbaby has recovered from her mysterious fever and stopped throwing lemons at me. She still much prefers Daddy, but whatever. I'm used to rejection. I can take it.
Still - am exhausted from the trauma that was Thursday and the bitch-slapfest that was Friday and the tequila that I had to drink to recover on Saturday. So, all you get today is a Whassup
After my record-breaking month of May & June in terms of number of posts, I find myself in a slump. It’s not that I’ve run out of things to blog about: there are plenty of travel news, and don’t get me started on my backlog of reviews and travel stories.
Call it writer’s block, but I haven’t been in a blogging mood lately. Maybe reading Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Neil Gaiman & Terry Prachet inspire me to write again.

Almost a whole month since I last posted an entry. I'm realizing that committing to a blog takes more time, discipline and creativity than I seem to have. I'm still a daily painter...just not a daily blogger I guess. But I'm back today with a painting I finished yesterday. So far this one is just called "That Cat Today."

Students! Students! Gather 'round! Aren't you excited I returned on a Friday? Right when you're already kicking back with a beer thinking to yourselves that the Bad A$$ Blond (B.A.D.)must have taken another vacation because she hasn't posted any weekend homework assignments, I show up on your computer screen. Never doubt my love for you, my beloved students. I haven't forgotten about you.I admit it! I've been a very naughty teacher because I feel I've been blogged alive which isn't nearly as bad as being buried alive, but close! What's this, you say?Hey, it happens to the BEST of us bloggers--even your bodacious bloggin' blondalicious (B.B.B.)teacher! With 12 blogs to juggle, there have been days lately when I just want to dip into the jacuzzi and daydream about scandalicious, superficial (S.S.) things like whether La Lohan is going to hang in there with her rehab or whether Britney is going to ditch her crazy hat collection--or other things equally moronic.According to Andy W

From the web pages of East Village Idiot - It was so funny that I had to repost it as my girls and I recently had a conversation in a bar regarding men in uniform, which was incidentally prompted by Fleet Week and the Naval sailors currently perusing the streets of Manhattan. I have to say that I am a little disappointed that they aren't swarming the streets in the abundance portrayed on an episode of "Sex and the City," but men in firefighter gear also have a similar effect.Without further ado is the warning issued on May 24 by the East Village Idiot:Men of New York City,For the next seven days, you will have a mortal enemy. He is desperate to get laid. In a head-to-head battle, he will always get the girl. You will spend months trying to get into a woman’s pants, and he will get into them in one night. You will wear your very best designer clothing to impress a woman, and your enemy, in his standard-issue polyester uniform, will take that woman home. You will meekly suggest going
You may have noticed I took a little break from blogging. It seems to me that quite a few bloggers have been feeling the same Spring Slump I've been struggling with these past few weeks. I mentioned already that I was tweaking my anti-depressants, and I definitely fell into a lull there while they took effect. Plus, all the dental work was just a suck-fest. It hurt, I couldn't chew very well, and those two things reminded me that I'm getting older and made me feel gee-rumpy.Now I'm feeling much more normal. The biggest change I notice when the medication kicks in is how easy it is for me to focus and get things done. The best way I can describe it is that pre-medication, I might look at the clock and think, "15 minutes until I have to leave for the bus stop. Even though I know I have a lot of phone calls to make and some bills to pay, it's too exhausting to even make a mental list of what I have to do...and hey - is that the new USWeekly?" Now, I think, "15 minutes, huh? Let's ca

Well, during July we had some of our closest friends from the UK staying with us. And even with the added stress of being hostess, it was absolutly fantastic!
Unfortunately though Mr. EC got stuck working most of the month thanks to the situation in Lebanon. He happened to be on call when it all kicked off and ended up working nearly 24 hours a day at some points. On the plus side though he was given this week off to make up for it and so was able to spend at least a few full days with our visitors.
As for being pregnant, can you believe there are just over 5 weeks until Baby EC is due! I definitely look like a whale now and am getting more and more uncomfortable but both baby and me seem to be doing well. My feet and ankles are huge too, I don't think they took too kindly to the amount of walking that came with showing our friends around Cyprus but hopefully a few days rest should do them some good.
Today has consisted of catching up on the housework and recovering from the hectic sc
As guest blogged on http://americanmoderateparty.blogspot.com/ 02 July 2006The New Media Political Waves Are Just Beginning First things first. Thank you Peter very much!My name is Alex Hammer and I am an Independent candidate for Governor of Maine. Our campaign website is www.hammer2006.politicalgateway.comThis type of "guest blogging" is, I believe, merely one illustration of this new media that is taking politics by storm. How far these waves go, and in what directions, will impact what our country looks like going forward, so each of our efforts are very important as there is much at stake. Our collective influence will be determined by the individual and collective visions that all those in the "new media" (joining those in the "traditional media") are able to productively harness. While I am focused most heavily on Maine, I look forward to continuing to learn (and hopefully be included!) from others also using these same powerful forces that are impacting all of us in all corners.
'Why do I have to be mature?' said Modge.... 'Im not a cheese!'.... Wise words Modge, wise words. 2 and a half weeks to go till my round the world adventure starts, and as mature as I should be, I feel like a kid in a toy shop and a small fish in a very, very big pond. Im sure Jonny once said something to me about preparation......contrary to popular belief, I have put in many hours of considered boozing to prepare for this trip! Anyway many years ahead of me for acts of maturity. So here goes and lets see if I can get to know yourself....
