I started this blog as a bit of fun, as an outlet for irreverent and creative posts about Coronation Street. And while I guessed that some Corrie fans might enjoy it, I could never have known how popular the Coronation Street blog would become. There are now thousands of Corrie fans reading the blog resulting in tens of thousands of hits each month. It's humbling - and I'm overwhelmed. It was never my intention to run adverts on this site, it's a not-for-profit fan blog and will always remain so. However, I have decided to run promotion for a charity that is close to my heart, Leukaemia Research, and in the coming weeks the blog may take on a different look as the charity banners begin to emerge on the site. Thank you for taking the time to visit the blog and to support my favourite charity
Bad, bad Blogger! Have you noticed that Blogger.com have changed how comments from non-Blogger blogs links are handled in the comment area? They don’t link to us any longer!
Wanna get that extern linking feature back in the comments?
Click here to Send them a request! (Even if you’re not a Blogger.com blogger!)
I urge every one to scroll down on that page and choose “suggest a new feature” and ask to get back the feature!
Not sure what I’m talking about here? Well, read on!
We have blogs to socialize with each other and Blogger have just built up a wall between us bloggers by implementing these new rules for commenting cross different blog platforms, they don’t any longer allow links to extern blogs outside Blogger.com.
Instead of earlier when you could click the “other” option, you can now only give in a nickname option - no link to your blog. Even if you write http://www.lifecruiser.com it won’t turn it into a link, not even if

Due to several startling accusations that this blog is beginning to resemble a "livejournal", I feel I need to respond. Firstly, the whole point of this endeavor was for Caleb and I to write about whatever the hell we wanted to, and I'm sticking to that point. Secondly, I don't ramble on about my problems or whine about anything. Anything that I write is going to have shades of my personal experiences in it, because, well... I wrote it. But, if I did want to complain about my love troubles or how I sunk a really sweet jump shot in basketball the other day, I will. Lastly, don't take offense to any of this... I enjoyed the comments and know they were not meant with any ill will. You know, to be safe, just don't be offended by anything I ever say.I have a couple of blog links today of a literary nature. Both sites are really hilarious (at least if you find bad grammar amusing). The first is Left Behind at the Fishbowl. Paul found this somewhere and I came across the link on h

I have just learnt about this idea. Dosh Dosh has this great tip for increasing large amounts of your blog links and web traffic. Mack Collier from The Viral Garden started "The Z List" in December 2006 as a response towards Technorati's method of assigning authority based on the number links pointing to a blog. The Z list is a blog meme, which sees bloggers creating and sharing a list of many links to blogs in a single post. Participants joining the Z list meme will have to copy and paste a list of blogs, while including any new blogs on the list that they feel should get the exposure they deserve. Here are the benefits of joining the Z-list meme? You'll get a lot of fresh incoming links and trafficYou'll get a much higher Technorati ranking (ironic but true)You'll get new readers and potential RSS subscribersYou'll most likely increase your blog's Google Page RankTo participate in the Meme you need to:Create a new post on your blogCopy and Paste the entire list of blog
I’m really excited about a new link service that i’m going to be testing over the next few months. I’ll fill you in on the details later after it’s working.
What is it? It’s a network of blog owners with established blogs (PR2+) and at least 1 year old who allow you to publish content on [...]
