Dr Otto Chan lost his job after going public on his discovery of a backlog of thousands of X Rays at the Royal London Hospital. 13th December 2005 Hospital Doctor. Barts and The London NHS Trust suspended Dr Chan in eary 2005 on charges that included racism and bullying. An independent panel found there were serious deficiencies in Dr Chan's behaviour in relation to managers. Dr Chan lost his case in the High Court last week and was told he could not appeal to the Health Secretary. He told Hospital Doctor that there was no question he had put the Trust into disrepute but asked "How do you whistleblow without doing that?". How do I love Nigella? Let me count the ways. Sometimes she’s bigger, and some times she’s smaller, but she’s always incredibly beautiful. She is incredible intelligent and well-educated, and has had some incredibly hard knocks (including the death of her first husband) and survived with consummate grace.
