OK, so you don’t hear sleigh bells in Myrtle Beach and you don’t see sleds either (and, I’m grateful we don’t need them here), but the mood was perfect for imagining while listening to the Andrew Thielen Band on Saturday at La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River. George Winston’s version of Carol of the Bells has been a favorite of mine for years. The somber tone captures the bleak beauty of December. The degree of difficulty to play this must be very high. I invited two friends from work to our wedding and they are both coming! A happy camper I am!
