The issuance of subprime mortgage backed securities totaled $25.9 billion in June, down nearly 55% from the level recorded in June 2006, and a Friedman Billings Ramsey researcher says he expects subprime secularizations to remain at the $25 billion-a-month level for the rest of the year. “It looks like a sustainable rate,” FBR managing director Michael Youngblood said, considering that the rate on the 10-year Treasury note dropped below 5% recently, which should help to make subprime fixed-rate product more attractive to borrowers. It is the biggest kind of seagull with it’s length of 61-74cm and wingspan of 1.4 to 1.7m. A grown gull weighs 1.5-2kg. I find this bird very fascinating with it’s very coarse cries and rough behaviour. I have seen them snap the neck of smaller seagulls, eating eider ducklings alive and swallowing pretty large cod fish in one gulp. (more…)
