Debido en gran parte al contraste entre las voces de sus dos cantantes y a su particular estilo que mezcla el metal, hardcore y punk, se lograron posicionar fácilmente en la escena de los "core"A mi en particular no me gustan mucho las bandas que se la pasan gritoneando por que como que me desespero muy rápido y ni les entiendo lo que dicen, pero con esta banda, como lo escribí antes, el contraste de las dos voces hacen que no te hartes de los gritos todo el dia (igual no le entiendo a lo que gritonea, pero ya buscas las letras y pues las lees jaja). Interestingly, this week's Hmmm topic asks us to consider the devastation that Southern California experienced in last month's horrible wildfires. Interesting, because just yesterday Asher and I boarded a plane and went to San Diego, right in the middle of it all. I think the intent of the roundtable was for us to consider what we would miss if we lost everything, but I'm going in a slightly different direction. This particular devastation technically hit far from home - so I lost nothing. But in many ways, it hit very close to home.During the days the fire raged, I more or less stayed glued to CNN and to my email. My brother, all my in-laws, and several close friends were being impacted. Some had to evacuate. Some lost everything. Some saw their parking structures on fire as they quickly grabbed an armful of possessions and drove away. Those who did not evacuate where asked to remain in their homes, and off the phone, alone and cut off for days - to allow freedom of travel

On November 5th it's Guy Fawkes Night here in the UK. When I was a kid it was something we used to get very excited about. Every community had their own bonfire. Ours used to be on a site behind Third Avenue before they built the industrial estate there; in fact my earliest memory is my dad come looking for me there while it was being constructed and it was safe for a four-year-old to wander the streets on his own. Nowadays, unless you live in Sussex, all that has stopped. Some of the local councils do fireworks displays but the whole community thing has died a death.It's another Bonfire I remember fondly. A woman sold her the ashes of her husband’s previous wife when she sold a ceramic turtle for 25c. The New Yorker, is desperately searching for the woman who bought the large turtle! The woman had plans to use it as a biscuit jar. The ‘new’ wife set up her stall for the yard sale while her husband slept. A buyer bought the large turtle container, despite being unable to open the lid. The ‘old’ wife (now on the ashes missing list) had collected turtles and the house had been full of them. Twas a case of time for the turtles to be evicted. The ‘new’ wife is hoping that the woman will discover the ‘old’ wife and return her post haste. GEOFF Lawson says his first Test series as Pakistan cricket coach will carry the significance of 10 Ashes battles. Lawson is looking forward to Australia's first tour of Pakistan in almost 10 years, next March. But the former Test quick says his first major test at the helm of Pakistan will be the tour of neighbouring India in November-December this year. The two nations, which line their joint borders with troops, have one of the uneasiest relationships in global politics.
