India have won the archery world cup and done their nation proud. They created history by defeating Malasiya in the finals of the archery cup held in Turkey. The team which had experienced players like Rahul Banerjee, Mangal Singh Champia and Jayanta Talukdar in their lineup defeated Malasiya in close game by 218-215.

(N1°32.507' E103°39.568') It is located at the 6th Floor of Skudai Parade.It's totally different from the last visited. Once upon a time there was an archery contest.The first archer, wearing a long cape covering his face, lines up in position...He takes a deep breath and fires an arrow, which finds the center of the target.Then he takes of his cape and screams: I AM...... ROBIN HOOD!!! The crowd cheers!The second archer with a cape lines up in position.He fires his arrow, which hits the center and cuts Robin Hood's arrow into two!!!He takes off his cape and screams: I AM...... WILLIAM TELL!!!!!! The crowd cheers!!Finally our Santa in cape lines up in position... He fires his arrow but it goes all wrong!It flies past the crowd and kills the king!!! I ran across this super awesome site, the Asian Traditional Archery Research Network. It could use a little designerly love, sure, but it’s pretty badass anyway. Where else will you learn about the Multiple-shot “Zhuge” Crossbow? Who even knew that crossbows got to have “nicknames”? And you’ll learn the difference between arrow whistles and whistling arrows! Hey everyone… I just had to pass along this photo of the buck I shot earlier this week. The mule deer buck was taken with a bow from a ground blind at about 20 yards. The hunt took place about 30 miles from my home in the high desert region of Central Oregon. If you’re morally opposed to hunting I’m sorry to offend you.

Of course, we’re aiming for the center of the target, and when we hit it, we get a certificate proving we’re in the “Bullseye Club.” No matter how old you are, it’s not easy at first, but with practice it doesn’t take long to improve and hit the target more and more perfectly. I just spent the afternoon with Chad from 4th Dimension Archery and he has some really great things planned for his mobile archery range and some great tournaments planned.
