1)If a tree has N nodes, then how many are the edges?Solution:Every node has a parent except the root. Each edge associates a node with its child. So the number of edges are N-1.2)Prove that there exists only a single path from each node to the root?Solution:If there are more than 1 paths from a node to the root,it means there are more than 1 parents for one of the ancestors of the node concerned, which is impossible in a tree.3)Prove that the depth of a tree is always equal to the height of the tree?Solution: Height of a tree is the height of the root.Depth of a tree is the depth of the deepest node, which is the number of edges from root to it.This should also be the node which defines the height of the root, otherwise we end up with a contradiction.4)The structure of a typical tree is to h

By Ann TriuneThere are many benefits to having a healthy colon. Colon cleansing products can help ward off illnesses, prevent constipation and encourage healthy weight loss. The result is having increased energy levels, better concentration and enhanced absorption of nutrients. However there are many kinds of colon cleansing products out there. So when choosing the best colon cleansing product for you, make sure you know exactly what you're looking for. Enemas have been used for a very long period of time. What they do is get rid of waste in the lowest part of the colon. Enemas are useful in treating constipation. The method in using enemas is simply inserting the product into the anus. Fluid is then released, performing a cleansing action. Typically, enemas simply release water, but the

Stumbled upon an interesting article online called Pregnancy and Work Can Work. Even if you're not working during your pregnancy, it's worth reading because the article addresses the 10 most common questions about being preggers, according to the two doctors interviewed for the article:How do I fit in doctor visits? Is it safe to see the dentist? What can be done about morning sickness and fatigue? What can I do about insomnia? Can I still drink coffee? What should I eat? Can I still hit the gym?Can I travel? What if I get sick? How do I plan for delivery while still working? Definitely worth checking out if you're expecting or planning to be pregnant.I'm a little run down this week - either have a cold or allergies. I'm leaning towards the latter. In C++, what is the difference between method overloading and method overriding? Overloading a method (or function) in C++ is the ability for functions of the same name to be defined as long as these methods have different signatures (different set of parameters). Method overriding is the ability of the inherited class rewriting the virtual method of the base class. What methods can be overridden in Java? In C++ terminology, all public methods in java are virtual. Therefore, all Java methods can be overwritten in subclasses except those that are declared final, static, and private. What are the defining traits of an object-oriented language? The defining traits of an object-oriented langauge are: * encapsulation * inheritance * polymorphism
What is the difference between char a[] = “string”; and char *p = “string”;? In the first case 6 bytes are allocated to the variable a which is fixed, where as in the second case if *p is assigned to some other value the allocate memory can change. What’s the auto keyword good for? Answer1Not much. It declares an object with automatic storage duration. Which means the object will be destroyed at the end of the objects scope. All variables in functions that are not declared as static and not dynamically allocated have automatic storage duration by default. For exampleint main(){int a; //this is the same as writing “auto int a;”}Answer2Local variables occur within a scope; they are “local” to a function. They are often called automatic variables because they au
What is a scope resolution operator? A scope resolution operator (::), can be used to define the member functions of a class outside the class. What do you mean by pure virtual functions? A pure virtual member function is a member function that the base class forces derived classes to provide. Normally these member functions have no implementation. Pure virtual functions are equated to zero.class Shape { public: virtual void draw() = 0; }; What is polymorphism? Explain with an example? "Poly" means "many" and "morph" means "form". Polymorphism is the ability of an object (or reference) to assume (be replaced by) or become many different forms of object.Example: function overloading, function overriding, virtual functions. Another example can be a plus ‘+’ sign, use
What is the difference between an object and a class? Classes and objects are separate but related concepts. Every object belongs to a class and every class contains one or more related objects.- A Class is static. All of the attributes of a class are fixed before, during, and after the execution of a program. The attributes of a class don't change.- The class to which an object belongs is also (usually) static. If a particular object belongs to a certain class at the time that it is created then it almost certainly will still belong to that class right up until the time that it is destroyed.- An Object on the other hand has a limited lifespan. Objects are created and eventually destroyed. Also during that lifetime, the attributes of the object may undergo significant change. Sup
You have two pairs: new() and delete() and another pair : alloc() and free(). Explain differences between eg. new() and malloc()Answer11.) “new and delete” are preprocessors while “malloc() and free()” are functions. [we dont use brackets will calling new or delete].2.) no need of allocate the memory while using “new” but in “malloc()” we have to use “sizeof()”.3.) “new” will initlize the new memory to 0 but “malloc()” gives random value in the new alloted memory location [better to use calloc()]Answer2new() allocates continous space for the object instacemalloc() allocates distributed space.new() is castless, meaning that allocates memory for this specific type,malloc(), calloc() allocate space for void * that is cated to the specific class type pointer. What is
What is C++? Released in 1985, C++ is an object-oriented programming language created by Bjarne Stroustrup. C++ maintains almost all aspects of the C language, while simplifying memory management and adding several features - including a new datatype known as a class (you will learn more about these later) - to allow object-oriented programming. C++ maintains the features of C which allowed for low-level memory access but also gives the programmer new tools to simplify memory management.C++ used for:C++ is a powerful general-purpose programming language. It can be used to create small programs or large applications. It can be used to make CGI scripts or console-only DOS programs. C++ allows you to create programs to do almost anything you need to do. The creator of C++, Bjarne Stroustrup,

NEUROSONIC emerged from the Vancouver rock scene in early 2006. As driven and unapologetic as its creator, the music of Neurosonic bears its own blend of fierce vigor. Neurosonic’s blatant, brutally honest musings are an intense build of hard rock, industrial reinforcement, standout lyrics, and big, catchy, killer choruses.Neurosonic's songwriter/producer Jason Darr (lead vox/guitar) is the real deal: an uncompromising artist, determined to realize and relay his vision. Joining him in this journey are Troy Healy (guitar), Jacen Ekstrom (accompanying vox/ bass) and Shane Smith (drums), all of who are committed to the creation, performance and recording of visceral, powerful music. The manifestation of this is Neurosonic's 2007 premier on Bodog Music, "Drama Queen.""Drama Queen" challenges

Anyone who watched the returning episode of "Desperate Housewives" last night, saw the interaction between Lynette, a cancer survivor and Bree, a housewife who strives for perfection in appearance in public and private. Naturally, I found this particular interaction interesting since it was about church and faith. I found it also very telling and truthful to large degree. Click on the link to view the whole episode. Quite generally church members are not prepared to answer profound questions that a seeker may have about "life", because generally many church members do not open their Bibles outside of church or Bible Study. They are reliant upon a pastor or leader to "tell" them then answers as opposed to understanding them for themselves. Another fact is that

It’s a game of inches. Speed kills. These sports clichés came to life Thursday night at Shea Stadium as Angel Pagan drove in Jose Reyes in the bottom of the 12th to give the New York Mets a 4-3 victory over their division rival, the Philadelphia Phillies.Pagan hit a single up the middle off of Philadelphia reliever Tom Gordon. With the outfield playing shallow against the speedy Reyes, who had doubled the previous at bat, center fielder Jayson Werth threw a strike to catcher Chris Coste. Coste blocked the plate and Reyes tripped over his foot, tagging home plate with his left hand just before Coste could apply the tag to Reyes’s back.Predictably, Philadelphia manager Charlie Manuel argued the call with home plate umpire Ted Barrett, but his efforts were to no avail.Pagan’s game-winne

"Schism"Saudi blogger Raed Al-Saeed whips up a answer to Geert Wilders' “Fitna” with “Schism.” The six-minute video has been posted on YouTube since April 2 and has received more than 3,500 views. 'Schism' – A Saudi Bloggers answer to Wilders Film By Ebtihal Mubarak Arab News JEDDAH — A Saudi blogger has made a six-minute video entitled "Schism" by portraying texts from Christian sources out of context, similar to the way Dutch MP Geert Wilders made his recently-released anti-Qur'an film entitled "Fitna." Friday I logged into a very old forum that I rarely go into but I was very active in when I was just starting in the internet marketing genre. I had lots of private messages and threads that I have not visited in over 4 months. What I thought I would do was a questions and answer thread, just because I was gone from the forum and wanted to give something back for my absence. Below you will find questions ask by members of the Young Entrepreneur forum and of course my experienced answers.
Sorry for not editing my answers, just in case I misspelled or have poor grammar.
