Whenever I am attaching components in task list, item category is coming "L" i,e stockable by default & it is greyed out. I want to change it to non stockable. In standard SAP in a task list the item cat is taken from the Material Master . That is the reason its greyed . To solve your issue you can create the BOM and have the non stock spare added as a BOM. Product Allocation Availability Check
A precise planning and controlling mechanism is of the utmost importance for the execution of competitive order processing with guaranteed efficient and timely delivery to the customer of the required order quantity. Unforseen problems, such as production deficits or increased demand can have critical consequences for order processing and must be brought under control as soon as possible. Product allocation is a function provided by the R/3 system for carrying out these control options intended to help your company to avoid critical requirement and procurement situations. This should enable you to keep production to a minimum at the same time as allowing you to react quickly to bottlenecks and changing market situations. In the R/3 system, product allocations represent an ordered allocation

If the availability check determines that the ATP quantity can fully or partially cover the order requirement, then a confirmed quantity is determined as the result of the check. The confirmed quantity is the basis for the availability check against product allocation, which is carried out along with the ATP check. The confirmed quantity from the ATP check is checked against the relevant product allocation. This ensures that the product allocation for this period is not exceeded. What’s Wrong with this 401k Asset Allocation?
Recently I spoke to a friend about his retirement savings, and we ended up looking at his 401k portfolio. Although he isn’t able to contribute the maximum amount each year, he contributes enough to take full advantage of the company match. However, when I looked at his investment asset allocation, I was horrified. This was what I saw: This friend is in his early 30s and this is his current asset allocation: 25% Target Retirement Fund 2020 25% Bond Fund 25% International Equity Fund 25% Company Stock Fund Can you point out some of things that are wrong?  I wonder how many people are religious about contributing to their 401k plans, but make poor choices about investing that money. Take the Right Mix Quiz on Asset Allocation I scored a 10/10 for knowledge and 7/10 for behavior. This was my feedback: You have a solid understanding of asset allocation. However, you may be struggling to put the principles into practice. You are not alone; not paying enough attention to asset allocation was cited as the most common investor mistake in our research. It’s important to identify the factors that have steered you off course and to develop a plan for getting — and staying — on track. Accommodation allocation notifications are being progressively dispatched. News organizations receiving their accommodation allocation notification from BOCOG will be asked to return their confirmation immediately. BOCOG will then fax or mail an official Accommodation Allocation Agreement (AAA) to the press organization for signing. The AAA will stipulate the date by which payment of the first deposit (50 per cent of the total) must be made. The deposit is not required before the AAA is signed by both parties. The balance must be paid no later than 1 April 2008. For those news organizations that have already confirmed their

Describe the Buddy system of memory allocation?
Free memory is maintained in linked lists, each of equal sized blocks. Any such block is of size 2^k. When some memory is required by a process, the block size of next higher order is chosen, and broken into two. Note that the two such pieces differ in address only in their kth bit. Such pieces are called buddies. When any used block is freed, the OS checks to see if its buddy is also free. If so, it is rejoined, and put into the original free-block linked-list.

Classes & Objects: Dynamic Memory Allocation
Just as variables of pre-def data type are dynamically allocated, same way objects of class can also be dynamically allocated. While the method of doing this is no different but the way members of such objects are accessed is a bit different. This is why I thought of writing a separate article on it. Before discussing any further, look at the program below: // Example Program in C++ #include<iostream.h> // class class myclass { // by default everything is // private to the class int var1, var2; void add(); public: int sum; void input(int, int); }; // function definitions void myclass::input(int a, int b) { var1=a; var2=b; add(); } void myclass::add() { sum=var1+var2; } // main function starts void main(void) { myclass obj; // simple object myclass *pobj; // pointer // of type 'myclass' pobj=&obj; // now 'pobj' pointer // points to the object 'obj' of // class 'myclass'

Introduction to Dynamic Memory Allocation in C++
Suppose you are making a C++ program to store a particular number (specified by the user at runtime) of phone numbers. What will you do? You cannot declare array of 10 or 20 elements because you don’t know how many numbers the user will enter. He may want to enter 1, 10 or even 100 phone numbers. So what will you do? Actually, you can do two things to achieve this, that are listed below: You can create a very large int(eger) array (say, of 500 elements) , in this case whether the user wants to store 1 or 500 phone numbers, the memory used will always be the same (large!). You can make use of C++’s dynamic memory allocation to allocate only the needed amount of memory. The first choice is a very bad way of programming, nevertheless it works fine, you should never employ such an inefficient method of programming. So, you are left with only one choice to use the Dynamic Memory Allocation of C++ programming language, th

Before I being I just wanted to reiterate that there are many different views and beliefs on this subject. What I’m going to attempt to do is simply state what I believe is the best country allocation for my unique situation. Yours may be the same but will probably be different based on your unique investment objectives, time frame and risk tolerance.Contrary to popular opinion I believe that the majority of my retirement portfolio should be in CDN dollars. I am aware of the argument that Canada is only 2.5% of the worlds markets so we should be diversifying as much as possible to take advantage of opportunities globally. Although I agree with that in principle I believe that the majority of my holdings should be in the currency of the country that I will ultimately be retiring in. Your personal allocation may be the same however, it will probably be different based on your own unique investment objectives, time frame and risk tolerance.I’m going to deal with 2 elements of asset allocation: 1. Allocation amongst the asset classes2. Allocation amongst countries (currencies)I’ll begin with asset allocation amongst the classes. The most common rule of thumb is that ideally you should subtract your age from 100 and that is the maximum percent of your portfolio that should be in equities, with the remainder of your portfolio being in some form of fixed income (basically your age is the percent of your portfolio that should be in fixed income). So according to this rule I should be 27% invested in fixed income. For some this may be true, however in my personal situation I wo

Who's Benefiting From Your Asset Allocation?
Canadian Capitalist is graciously hosting the third Canadian Tour of Personal Finance Blogs. There is no way I am passing up this opportunity to be mentioned in his blog. This will be my second participation to this tour. Enjoy! Organizing your portfolio into neatly divided asset classes appears to be the sensible thing to do, but what if your financial advisor is offering you only a half-baked solution? Take my friend, Mel, for example. He and his wife walked in to a bank seeking an optimal way to invest a $10,000 windfall. The advisor had them fill out a Know Your Client form to learn their financial goals, risk tolerance, investment knowledge, time horizon and financial position. Based on his assessment, the advisor recommended a 70/30 split between equity and bond funds commanding a hefty 2% in management expense ratio (MER.) What's wrong with this picture? Like typical young couples, Mel and his wife still owe an approximate $200,000 worth of mortgage. Since homeowners p

      Retriement Portfolio: 401 (k) Asset Re-allocation...
In a post long ago, I mentioned that I intended on creating a less expensive, and better performing 401 (k) portfolio. Well, I finally got off my butt and did it. Unfortunately my options were limited to Prudential Financial's 9 mutual funds, one fixed income fund, and my companies stock. Those mutual funds had an average expense ratio of 0.92% and a front load of 4.61%, not that bad I suppose, I've heard of worse options. I wound up dropping CABDX, SPVAX, and MIGFX. My portfolio in particular averaged an expense ratio of 1.07% and front load of 5.30%. I kept AEPGX, LAVX and obtained an index fund, PDSIX. No load at all, and it has an expense ratio of 0.30%. Nowa days my portfolio is averaging an expense ratio of 0.73% and front load of 3.83%. The funds I now have, average a five year performance of a little under 11%, and ten year of a little over 12%. I'll try my best to re-balance every quarter, and at the least every two quarters depending on how each sector of the economy,
