      A Zesty Sprouts Salad
Edible seeds are packed with nutrients and when sprouted..it is even more..I would say it is the most nutritious food. They are known to grow even after you refrigerate them thereby increasing their nutrient content as well...these grown at home will probably be the freshest food that is laid on your table. Recipe: Zesty Satay Potato & Zucchini Curry
This spicy little number is quite filling and delicious! The lime in this dish really brings out the flavour. Inspired by the BBC Food Vegetarian Summer magazine which came in at my local newsagent, I played with their Potato & Peanut Curry. The BBC Food group also put out a yearly Christmas magazine for Vegetarians which I religiously buy! It has great recipes and the whole magazine is purely for vegetarians and vegans alike! All the great chefs and cooks submit recipes such as Ainsley Harriot. If you’re looking for some ideas for Christmas, this one is certainly worth ordering! Serves: Two Ingredients: 200 grams zucchini 30 grams spring onion 250 grams potatoes, peeled and sliced into medium pieces 1 bunch coriander 50 grams peanut pieces 4 tbs water 50 mls light coconut milk 4 tbs lime juice 2 tbs soy sauce 2.5 tsp garlic mince 1 tsp chilli paste 1 tsp ginger mince olive oil spray 150 ml vegetable stock 1 tbs coconut essence salt Instructions: Boil the potatoes i

      Zesty Lemon Bread
I've never been an able hand at baking.  It's funny but those folks who are great bakers are blessed with the gift of precision.  Me?  I'm more of a wang-dang-doodle type of cook who likes to go with the flow as I prepare food but you can't do that when you bake--as I've found out on several occasions!  Basically, I gravitate towrds the simpler breads like this here lemon bread and you know what?  Everything seems to work out fine.  Pass the butter, will'ya?Ingredients:

      Zesty Tortilla Wedges
Here are some zest grilled cheese sandwiches that cook up on the BBQ in minutes! They can also be done in an oven, heated to 350 degrees F and baked for about 10 minutes or until cheese melts. zesty necklace
Yesterday whilst reading the paper I saw someone wearing a really fun necklace / pendant - it was a very realistic slice of orange / lemon. Ohmygodhowkitsch, right? But really cute at the same time. Anyway, I thought I'd do a trawl and the only thing I can find similar are these equally brilliant life-sized lemon slice earrings:Adorable. They're from http://www.girlprops.com/ - a brilliant site selling all sorts of unusual jewellery (and normal stuff too). Anyway, you've probably noticed the huge fruit-theme going on in pendants just now - apples, cherries... you name it. Up till now I've ignored it, but what the heck, some of the goodies on sale here are just too good. I particularly love the watermelon pendant, and the pineapple... mmm, and the peeling banana.

      Zesty!
I do love it when I get questions from readers. It makes my job so much easier! I got a question this afternoon about how to properly “zest” citrus fruits. Most commonly, a recipe will call for zest of lemon or lime. Sometimes (like in a recipe I plan to share just in time for [...]
