I once tagged about this by Fida, asking what age I wish to get back to, and I have briefly mentioned about it in this post because at that moment people from the past suddenly reappeared in my life at the same time, a long overdue project was back in full speed, and of course, Indy was back after 19 years hiatus. But then Woelank and Ecky also tagged me recently, and this time, I let myself think

Ranjeeta Kaur or Ranjeeta as she is more fondly known will be making a comeback soon with Zindagi Tere Naam along with Mithun with whom she mustve a dozen odd films , it was the 'hit pair' of the late 70's & early 80's . Granted ranjeeta was never the a-lister but she does have a movie opposite amitabh bachhan in satte pe satta ( the duplicate greeneyed babu was her hero) but ranjeeta was always quite an eyeful as we can see here Mithun & Ranjeeta in Khwaab
Fountain pen lovers story. Read the article about his favorite’s pen and loving to write.
Anyone who knows me in fountain pen lingo knows that I like both Montblanc and Pelikan. A Pelikan M200 was the first “fine” German fountain pen that I owned. I felt that any fountain pen I owned before this was not a “fine” fountain pen. This is not to [...]
I read my first book about the secret doings of the CIA in 1964. It was an eye-opener called The Invisible Government by David Wise and Thomas Ross. They exposed the CIA's overthrow of Mohammed Mossadegh in Iran in 1953 and of Jacobo Arbenz in Guatemala in 1954, its role at the Bay of Pigs operation in Cuba, against Sukarno in Indonesia, and covert operations in Laos and Vietnam.Next week, according to this morning's Washington Post, at the behest of CIA Director Michael Hayden the agency will release hundreds of newly declassified pages relating to agency secrets from the 1950s, '60s and '70s, including illegal abuses of its authority. As the Post says, these are the "so-called 'family jewels' documenting a quarter-century of overseas assassination attempts, domestic spying, kidnapping and infiltration of leftist groups from the 1950s to the 1970s ..." Not to mention drug experiments on unsuspecting victims.
During my first marriage, my (ex)husband's family struggled tremendously with one of their other son's. For some reason, he went down the wrong path and found himself addicted to drugs and alcohol for many, many years. He ran the gamut, as did his father and my ex mother-in-law and I know they tried everything they could to help him. Unfortunately, his story didn't end well, and perhaps it's because they didn't find a site like 1800nodrugs.com. Reading the success stories on their website, it's clear that there are people who manage to beat their addictions and find the help they need, thanks to their free referral service. As I read some of their stories, I got teary-eyed, because I cannot imagine being a parent of a kid who has gone down that path and the utter helplessness of not knowing where to turn for help. I hope I never have to go through that, but if I do, I hope that 1800nodrugs.com will be there to help me find help.
