YellowcardYellowcard was formed in 1997 in Jacksonville, Florida after meeting at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. The band was made up of six members back then: - Ben Dobson (1997 - 2000) : vocals - Todd Clarry (1997 - 2001) : guitar, vocals - Sean Mackin (1997 - present) : violin, vocals - Warren Cooke (1997 - 2002) : bass - Ben Harper (not the same as Ben Harper) (1997 - 2005): guitar - Longineu W. Parsons III (1997 - present) : drums The band released their first album, Midget Tossing, in 1997 but with not much success. Around that time their lead singer was replaced by Ryan Key who convinced the band that they couldn't be successful in Florida, so they decided to move to Southern California. The new group released their debut album, One for the Kids (Lobster Records), in 2001, and followed up with The Underdog EP (Fueled by Ramen Records) in 2002. Yellowcard signed with Capitol Records in 2003 and released Ocean Avenue, which is their most successfu

I certainly don't have the right words to say. We were fortunate enough to have the chance to play with him and I remember nothing but smiles when he was around at shows. I am not very good friends with the guys personally but I cannot imagine what they are going through right now. Could it be true? The longest most scorching hot summer has finally ended! Well at least it seems like it might have ended. Don't get me wrong I love being outside on the beach in the sun as much as anyone but touring in 100 degree weather just gets to be a little much when its still that hot in October. We are in Milwaukee today and it is cloudy and cold and I love it. Is that weird? I guess I'm a winter person. Who else moves to New York City in December?Shows are still going well. Yellowcard - Paper Walls [Advance]Another leak has arrived, and I'm not complaning. This time around it's alternative rockers Yellowcard. Now it's not the Retail of thier new album, it's missing two songs so I'm calling it an advance. I was a fan of thier "Ocean Avenue" album, but lost interest of them when they released "Lights and Sounds" last year. Since then they've been working on this, and were able to make a better album from what we have here. The uptempo tracks like "Light Up the Sky" and "Fighting" are deff good. But I actually found myself enjoying the midtempo ballads more like "Shadows And Regrets" and "Keeper" probably the best song on here. Yellowcard - Light Up The SkyYellowcard is back since thier last album "Lights and Sounds" in 06'. Thier set to release a new album titled "Paper Walls" out July 17th! Here we have the confirmed first single "Light Up The Sky". Fans were a bit let down from thier last album, but rumor has it that they won't be disappointed. The song is alternative rock midtempo, with matured vocals from lead singer Ryan.
