Before tonight's game, manager Joe Girardi said "there's no situation we've talked (about) as of right now" that would keep the Yankees from starting Igawa again Wednesday at Tampa Bay. But that was before tonight's awful performance. Baseball rules require an optioned player, such as Kennedy, to spend 10 days in the minors before returning (unless he replaces a player put on the disabled list). Kennedy was optioned last Sunday, so the 10th day is Tuesday.
