If you recall, I said last night that I thought the market would go up in the morning, and then retreat. I even gave +300 as my number in the comments section. I had planned to sell my SFI for a profit on the upswing, and then buy the XLF puts on the downswing.Well, the market did go up 300 points today, and then it did retreat afterwards, as it closed down 127 points, however, all that took place
I borrowed a little time to throw in a short one today--short and sweet, I hope.I could be wrong, but I think we have another redneck here. This tugboat captain is definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time. Some folks make a habit of that activity, and we call those folks rednecks.Don't know if this tug captain qualifies, but he sure is behaving like he does.Have a look at Tug at the Bow, an
Kenneth T. Walsh in “U.S. News”:
In the 1960s and ’70s, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon misled the country over the progress of the Vietnam War, in the process deepening public suspicion of politicians in general.
That’s not true. President Nixon leveled with the American people about Vietnam, telling them bluntly what was at stake for our [...]
Here is an internal friction among mega fans. They are unhappy because of 'Parugu' release at wrong time. They say that the film should release after 'Jalsa' turns 50 days. But now 'Parugu' is released to vie with 'Jalsa'. Hence the mega fans people those are sympathetic to Pawan Kalyan are finding it uneasy to see 'Parugu' releasing this soon.We have to see how far Parugu affects Jalsa. The initial report of 'Parugu' that has come out is with mixed appeal. Courtesy:greatandhra

The discussion went smoothly. A wife looking for insurance to replace a term policy on her husband that was coming to the end of the guarantee. Good health. A little family history hiccup, but not a big deal. Then I asked about foreign travel and she said, well, yes he does travel. After a little beating around the bush it seems that her husband had become a little bored with retirement and had decided to do contract work….. kind of where ever he might be needed. He was currently in Iraq for 12 months. Wrong time to review his insurance portfolio!!

My day off this week, following the grueling time I put in on the assembly line, had me wanting to treat myself to something nice. A meal that fits the bill every time: a BLT and a glass or two of Rose’. Although this time I made it a BBT–bacon, basil leaves, and tomato. The wine was a 2005 Clos LaChance Rose’ that I picked up on my wine trip last week. The Pink-Throated Brilliant, as they call it, has a picture of that endangered hummingbird from South America on the label. It’s part of The Hummingbird Series, a less expensive line with each wine named after a different species. This particular one is made from Syrah and Grenache, and I found it crisp and full of strawberries and perfect with my tasty sandwich.
