      Writers Block Begone!
I sat in front of my T.V and computer for a while today, sportscenter was on and a blank page was open on Wordpress.  For whatever reason I’ve developed writers block even though I know what topics I want to talk about.  Bizarre, I’m aware, but for whatever reason I would start a sentence and  [...]

      Writers Block - What’s That?
I don’t know the meaning of writer’s block and why, because I’m not writing for the world, but for me and my passion for storytelling. What I write, I want to loan to the world to read, but when it comes down to it, why do we write? More: continued here

      Unblocking the Writers Block
Writer's Block. This is the monster capping the fount whence exist the worlds that we materialize unto paper, and I have had my share of wrestling with this monster. Fortunately, for me, though I have countless times been to hell and back with depression due to frustration with the monster, I never fixated upon the idea that writing was not for me. On the contrary, the personal battles I fought all the more convinced me that writing self-professed "genius" work during the witching hours is absolutely worth it after all the arm-twisting, eye-poking hardships courtesy of this monster we call the Writer's Block. Moreover, to aid fellow comrades-in-ink, I have listed below techniques that I have used so far and have personally proven effective in getting the fount flowing again. 1. Talk ab

      Another Form Of Writers Block
I just looked at the date on the files that I have for my new novel Terminal Singularity. The latest date is 11th Dec. It is now the 29th. That is 18 days without working on my novel. OK, you might say, given the dates involved(i.e. Christmas) I might be excused for not writing while [...]

      Writers Block Strikes (again)
OK I have to admit that I have developed writers block again. I say again because this is a problem that I have had ever since I started to write. What happens is that I start to write. And I maintain production as long as I get to write every day. Even if I only manage a few minutes and type only a handful of words the next Day I can write some more. However sooner or later life intervenes and I don’t get to write for a day (or maybe 2 or 3 days). And then when I do get the time to write again, I can’t. I thought I had the problem solved with “free typing/writing” were one types, or writes, non stop for a set period of time. this seemed to be working well for me the past few months, but now I’ve done 11 days of free typing and produced not a single word of story for any of the novels I am working on. I know all about writers block. I have had 15 years of writers block from the time I finished Alexandra to the time I started Alice, so I know from personal

      Writers Block
So, as a new blogger, and fighting the sense that no one is going to understand my words, it holds me back from assuming I could get anyone behind me with my thoughts. But you know, its a process. Nothing worth while happens instantly. I enjoy what this window to the world offers people, but sometimes, you have to look at it and go, what the hell am I going to write about? Its fun, its challenging. After enough times, it makes you start getting a bit more creative and critical with how your writings are displayed to the world. Your topics can become much more appealing, and much more concise for the reader. (except this one)Which brings me to another point. Its not just the information you have for people, but how you display it. It is your responsibility as a writer to make people W

Writers block would actually be preferable to this.
{summary}We’ve been home from our little excursion for three hours.  As soon as I got into the house I sat down to try to get some writing done. I have produced approximately negative one paragraphs of material because of distractions.  Furthermore, the kid is working himself into a exhaustion-fueled frenzy, and I can’t concentrate for all the noise.  If it weren’t after nine, I’d drive to Wal-Mart (*spit*) and buy some ear plugs.

      Writers block
6 times now I've deleted a post because I cant get the words typed out right. Reading it back, Ive hated every word. For days I've been thinking of something to post on the blog and for the life of me...I cant think of jack shit!I dont want to go down my usual route of bitching about my gran or my neighbours. I'd actually like to make a post that's worth while to the people reading. Something so interesting that people will leave comments about it and not just wait for the blog explosion count down to finish to get away from the unsightly posts I've posted in the past. Do muses come cheap?.....10 minutes have gone by and all I've done is stare at what I've just typed out...trying to think of what next to sayFUCK, SHIT, ASS, BITCH, WANK!!!!!No. That didnt help either...another 10 minutes has gone by. The only slightly none interesting thing I can type about it...listening to Rob play the guitar by means of the .wav files he's sending me. I'm looking at a very useless post and w

Business Blogging - 5 Tips to Help You Smashl Through Writers Block
It's inevitable. Everyone hits the wall. Whether you've been blogging ten weeks, ten minutes, or ten months, eventually you'll find yourself with absolutely nothing to say.Or so you think. So what in the world do you do when you're stumped? 1- Talk about what you've already talked about Pick a topic you've gone over before and give it some spin. Try a new angle, like playing devil's advocate. For example, if you are a search engine journalist, and last week your position was that most mainstream sites need Google traffic to survive, try proving your point from the "con" perspective, instead of the "pro" position. There are dozens of ways to write about the same thing. By putting your point another way, you might give someone in your audience what a client of mine referred to as an "Ah-ha!" moment. That's when they realize the true value of the items for sale at your site to them and their business. 2- Talk about what someone else is talking about If you want to have a popular

      Writers block
Well, i've sort of been having writers block since i last posted. I haven't really been making any time for writing and have just been carrying on as before. I don't think i'm very dedicated to this writing stuff. Perhaps if i force myself into a routine of sitting down and writing for an hour each day that would help... but i find that life always ends up getting in the way! I'm also broke... i went on holiday and now have no money left for the month which is why i've decided to sign up to an online content provider for websites. You write articles on every topic under the sun and get paid various amounts of money from $10 upwards. At least it's a way of earning money from writing! If anyone else is interested they're called Constant-content.As far as the evolution idea goes i've been researching a guy called Charles Dawson who was a naturalist in Sussex around the turn of the century. If you've heard of the piltdown man controversy you might know that he's one of the key s
