      Woo Hoo!
I found myself, an HTML idiot illiterate, in some serious trouble last night. I had begun tinkering with the template here, thinking I'd just "move some stuff around" and "change some colors." Uhm, yeah.BUT! As you can see, I figured it out after all! I ended up redoing the template from scratch, using this fabulous template generator: PsycHo generator. Started at 10:30 a.m., finished by 1:30

      Woo Hoo!
Hey! Remember when I was all like, "Phew! Glad that's over!" about the lice?Yeah, they are back. Am obviously Lice Neophyte.Pepper got off the school bus and said, "My head was really itchy again today," and sure enough, there were a couple little nits and eggs in her formerly pristine hair. I don't know if we missed some eggs, or missed some soft surface somewhere, or if she is getting reinfected at school, but I'm totally bummed.(Peanut just walked over to me and whispered in my ear, "I want 10,675 toys." Yeah, well, I want an automatic nit removal machine and some recreational alcohol and/or drugs, but neither one of us is gonna get what we want tonight, kiddo.)Last night, I went to bed with the possibility of a near kid-free weekend. My MIL had offered to try to get circus tickets

Right Wing Bloggers for Jesus! WOO HOO!
Yeah, I know it's a gay title, but I thought it was funny. The Story:  Blogging While Female (Via Right Wing News (Conservative News and Views))  Every so often in the blogosphere, on the Left and the Right, hostile debates over gender seem to rise up to the surface like a leviathan from the depths. Some male bloggers tend to think women get more links because they're women, some female bloggers think there's some sort of a "good ol’ boys" club that keeps them from getting big, and more than a few people seem to get huffy about the whole debate. However, the fact is that the issue is much more complex than it appears on the surface. The blogging experience ISN'T THE SAME for men and women. There are different advantages, disadvantages, and challenges t

      It’s the weekend, Woo Hoo.
Another busy week comes to a close and the weekend beckons.  The cats have just woke up and want feeding.  They sleep all day and all night during the winter and apart from the odd visit outside to perform what nature intended they are rarely more than six inches from the hot radiators these days.  Have [...]

My wordpress blog traffic has SPIKED!! WOO HOO!
That's right! The moment I put the article about the mummified hadrosaur in my WordPress.com blog, the whole traffic sky-rocketed! :D Boy you should've seen the stats of my main WordPress blog. Yesterday's stats has a whopping 657 views on it and the traffic still keeps right on going after WordPress.com have reseted my stats bar. That mummified hadrosaur is certainly big news around here. Especially when it comes to the fact that the fossil has even fossilized skin, gaps between the spinal bones, and the ability to outrun a T.rex. Now how cool is that?Meanwhile, I'm working on another article that debunks a large article written for Apologetics Press entitled Humans and Dinosaurs- Together? that has a usual slew of lies, fabrications, and stupidity all wrapped up in one large article. It's not finished yet. Still has a lot to go before I post it on this blog. So be patient as I go and get it done so I can posted it on this blog for all to see. Perhaps I can also post it on my oth

      Woo Hoo!! Family Time!!
The Ball was last night and it was ok... Truthfully, I wasn't impressed. Our command is the largest on base and last year they decided to split it between two nights so they could have it at The Club. There were complaints about that I guess and so they decided to rent out the community Civic Center for the ball. OK! Terrible, terrible, terrible idea!! I think my high school prom was better than the ball last night. I've seen the center done up nice so I guess I was expecting that last night too. There are so many things that could have been done to make the decor right for the night but instead we had multi-colored balloons as centerpieces for our white plastic tables with metal folding chairs. I did have fun with my husband though and it is always nice to get dressed up and go out on a special date! Also, I had a few girls come up and tell me I looked so elegant and asked if they could take a picture with me. That was a nice kind surprise, but it does seem the dresses are getting s

      Woo Hoo, What a Ride!
I recently visited my primary physician and had numerous health questions. Here are my questions and his answers. I intend to follow his advice to a tee.Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true?A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it... Don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does a cow eat? Hay and corn. And what are these? Vegetables. So a steak is nothing more than an efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to your system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef is also a good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And a pork chop can give you 100% of your recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.Q: Should I reduce my alco

Woo Hoo! My 2008 Calendars Are Done!
And here they are! My new two, 2008 Desk Calendars! I think they are just the coolest little thing! First up, is "Viva Frida". They can be found here and here. I love these calendars because they are the perfect size for my computer area, plus, the CD jewel case stand thingy is so sleek and I think they're quite unusual (which I ♥)! Above is the cover of the calendar with an itty bitty preview of each monthSample pages of what a month looks like. I ♥ the font I used for each month! And this is what it looks like when it's flipped open and in use! Very cool indeed! And what it looks like closed up, compact and with all twelve months stacked up nice and neat in its sleek, cool cd jewel case. Second up, is my 2008 Dia De Los Muertos calendar, "El Muerto Viva"! They can also be found here and here. I think it's real obvious that I ♥ my 2008 calendars (even better than last year). How 'bout that?

I will be coordinating the vendor fair and helping with the fashion show. Last summer I went to the NAAFA convention in Boston and I had a wonderful time. Of course any party where fun women get together in an environment of acceptance and celebration you are sure to have a great time.  The NAAFA convention features workshop sessions, pool parties, dances, a fabulous vendor fair, an auction and the opportunity to socialize with some very wonderful people. If you’d like to know more please visit The NAAFA website. I hope to see you there!

Blur will begin recording its new album this fall with the entire original line-up, including Coxon, in tow. In a U.K. tabloid, a “source” close to the band is quoted as saying, “They've all had lots on, with solo projects, cartoon bands, political campaigns, and farming. But by the end of summer, their plates will be clear. They'll go into the studio together in November."

Well, not really the first payout, more like the first payout of the new domain. My Tip Tail Dog Blog does sponsored posts for Pay Per Post. I did it before I changed domain names, but when I changed, I had to wait for a while to get things reset up for my new domain. Today, it’s been 30 days since I did the first opportunity on the new domain. Woo Hoo. Got my first $12. From now on, I should get a payout every day or couple of days, depending on how many opps I am able to take. For the collies! They need it!

Daylight Saving Time - woo hoo!
I'm loving the new early Daylight Saving Time. Notice, that I say "Saving" as opposed to "Savings". "It's not a SAVINGS bank!!" according to DST police Noorul. Interestingly enough, a Google search will produce 957,000 results for the incorrect "daylight savings time" and only 671,000 results for the correct "daylight saving time". Noorul, you have a long way to go on your mission! My question is why ever go back to standard time? Lets do it all year round. Shift the time zones over. I hate when it gets dark at 3pm in December. I think it would also help curb seasonal depression. Even though you don't get more light hours, it gets dark later in the day. According to this article,During energy crisis years, Congress enacted earlier starting dates for daylight time. In 1974, daylight time began on Jan. 6 and in 1975 it began on Feb. 23.Can you imagine the uproar from IT people if we willy-nilly changed DST nowadays? I've heard that you need to go back to standard time for

Woo hoo 2nd place in a Chili contest!
In my very first entry into a food contest last November, I was extremely excited to win 2nd place. The first place winner had a heaping full crockpot with large chunks of peppers and meat, where mine was less than half full, and a bit more refined in taste and texture (and of course in my opinion better tasting). I think the smaller amount had a lot to do with my second place finish, as it was completely gone after lunch. So if I ever enter another chili contest, I'll make a huge batch. This contest took place at work with about 9 people entering and everyone voting. The pots were numbered and I was a bit shy about telling anyone which one was mine. The winner was definitely not shy, so another lesson learned. I'm not a person who likes to self-promote and that kind of behavior really turns me off although it is effective in this world. Anyway, it was fun to win something - a $25 Hannaford (grocery store) gift card. Another side note - if I actually made that huge a pot, it

      Woo Hoo I Got Sweaters
Yesssss!  I’ve had like one decent sweater this winter and my mom-in-law bought me 4 stylish Mossimo ones to finish out the winter.  I might actually be understood as having some style or fashion sense!!!  I am very grateful for this gift.  I also got “The Wedding Singer” on DVD and a neon guitar wall clock (yeah baby!).  The kids are making out like bandits and getting tons of great presents from their grandparents and their auntie.  We’re gonna eat tacos soon and later after that we’re heading down the hill to San Clemente for Christmas with the previous generation Riley family.  Isabella is in bliss.  She’s got chocolate on her mouth and she’s surrounded by toys and her 3 cousins and 1 brother all playing on the floor.  For a change, I don’t have to fight her away from playing with my laptop.  Have you ever tried to write with a needly 2 year old in the room competing with your masterpiece???  Anyway, we are soon headed to S
