Calling Allan Heinberg a bad writer is like calling root beer a bad vegetable. I can’t think of a positive thing to say about his writing. Similarly, I can’t think of a single positive thing to say about Terry Dodson’s art. Dodson draws terrible faces, odd body proportions (any Dodson supporter needs to leave Rob Liefeld alone) and his action scenes are boring. Except all of “Who is Wonder Woman?” is boring–the only moment with any tension is the moment I created tension for–I hoped for a Batman and Wonder Woman kiss, just because it’d at least make things interesting.

Wonder Woman is an iconic figure in the comic book world. She is an amazon princess called “Diana” after a Greek goddess (Artemis). One of the most recognized characters in the pantheon (pardon the pun) of the DC Comics universe. Wonder Woman first appeared in the early 1940s and since then has been a favorite of millions of fans on comics, tv series (Linda Carter anyone?) and cartoons. I created this pieces as an homage to the character. He lays out the revised Wonder Woman origin like a movie--like Superman, specifically--spending the first two issues establishing the series's revised Greek mythology and bringing Steve Trevor into the story, then spends four issues working up a situation for Wonder Woman to resolve, one both personal and global.Reading, I found it odd no one could put together a Wonder Woman movie, because this series is perfect for it. Wonder WomanLynda Carter, the athletic and stunning actress was the perfect cast as the amazonian princess who leaves the Themyscira island to fight for justices in the world. The first season took place during World War II with Wonder Woman fighting the Nazis. The Second season updated the Wonder Woman mythos to modern times and a different network. The series has only three seasons but proved to be a pop-cultural hit thanks to reruns.
Remember sexy Lynda Carter? You know, she played Wonder Woman; the DC comic superheroine way back in the 70's. I remember that costume well! Well, she is to make a cameo appearance in a Smallville episode. Lynda will play Moira Sullivan, mother of Chloe Sullivan reporter of the Daily Planet, and played by Allison Mack.
Earlier in the season Moira was placed in a mental institution, all a network representative will say is "Her whereabouts play a large part in the episode.â€
However, it has been confirmed that Lynda will only appear in one episode.

I once made a list of female action heros and left Wonder Woman off the list. I got my sweet cheeks bitch slapped to femsting come.I like Wonder Woman well enough. I recognize the high place she holds in Feminist History. I know she was the first woman to grace the cover of Ms. Magazine. But I think she is a Republican. That does not automatically disqualify her. I even have a friend who is a Log Cabin Republican and is a lawyer and political consultant for the party. But that takes some pretty nimble mental gymnastics. And say what you want about Wonder Woman, I have never seen much indication of super gray matter.More seriously, a lot of my friends say she is that worst of worst—an Amazonian hasbian. Well, I best not personally comment on that. But there are all degrees here, and it does not necessarily mean one has bought into the Focus on the Family Restoration Program.
