Credit goes to Leslie and Matt for this one as well. You miss so darn much when you're on the other side of the world. I tried to keep up by reading the Globe online, but it just isn't the same.As most of you know, Robert De Niro quit Edge of Darkness in early September (here). Well it looks like they've decided to replace him with Ray Winstone - some of you may remember him as Mr. French from
Look, no underwear: Agyness Deyn and Jaime Winstone out-dare each other at Fashion Week party
There was no need for X-Ray specs at one London Fashion Week party last night when Agyness Deyn and Jaime Winstone stepped out in see-through outfits.
The Mancunian model, 25, paid her best friend, designer Henry Holland the highest compliment by choosing [...]
About a week ago, word spread that Robert De Niro had walked off the set of Martin Campbell's Edge of Darkness. A spokesman for De Niro explained it to us like idiots: "Sometimes things don't work out; it's called creative differences." De Niro would have co-starred with Mel Gibson as an agent tasked with cleaning up evidence of a murder Gibson's homicide detective is trying to investigate. It seem

Ray Winstone talks to Parkinson about his latest movie Beowulf , in which he plays the title character. Beowulf the warrior is charged to kill Grendel, a monster terrifying towns, and later Grendel’s mother, who starts to kill in revenge. Now, I’m not too sure how this works. Beowulf is a PG-13 movie right? So when reports came in that the R-Rated Beowulf trailer was online I got really confused! How can you get an R-Rated trailer from a PG-13 movie? Well thing is the trailer isn’t all that scary and yeah, you get to see a naked Angelina Jolie (well, mud is covering up her vitals) but still, I don’t think it’s worth an R-rating..
I suppose saying ‘PG-13 Comic Con trailer’ would grab far less attention than ‘R-Rated Comic-Con trailer’ so they must know what they are doing.
The trailer itself was cut for the 3D experience. There are parts where blood is coming off the screen at the audience, but in 2D the trailer isn’t that impressive.
Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Reports have come through that a movie remake of the awesome 1970’s British cop show “The Sweeney” is in the works. The unstoppable Ray Winstone is expected to play Jack Regan, who in the television show was played by the late John Thaw.
In the 70’s The Sweeney had a shocking amount of grit, profanity and violence but I’m sure there will be even more in a film adaptation. In the show, the Metropolitan Police Flying Squad tackle the worst organised crime across London - and annoying a whole load of people in the process.
Original Series creators Ian Kennedy Martin is said to have written the script and Nick Love (Football Factory, The business) is attached to direct.
