So, if your PC is used by many people and you don’t want anyone checking out what files you open, then continue reading.
Open your Registry Editor (Run > type regedit) and navigate to:

PlayerRecentFileList
For Files:
Delete the RecentFileList sub-key.
For Streamed Content:
Delete the RecentURLList sub-key.
In the end, exit the Registry Editor, and restart your computer.

Ya que pedí ayuda para elegir un buen reproductor de audio voy a intentar ayudar a los que se encuentren en mi misma situación con una serie de entradas sobre las distintas opciones que hay disponibles.
Empezaremos con el Windows Media Payer 11 (WMP11) ya que es el que todos tenemos por venir con Windows.
En general el estilo es muy parecido al Vista, iPhone y demás interfaces modernas, las opciones las tipicas aunque los controles un poco avanzados estan medio escondidos (ecualizador, pitch y demás) y no son accesibles desde las versiones reducidas.
Las visualizaciones por defecto son bastante normalillas y desde el enlace de descarga tampoco encuentras grandes cosas, aunque me imagino que habrá cosas mejores si buscas bien.
Tiene tambien un modo reducido con lo básico, pero tampoco tiene nada de especial, sin embargo desde el WMP9 existe el modo Mini, que permite quedarse en la barra de tareas ocupando sin molestar a las aplicaciones normales, desgraciadamente para mi gusto cr

I have Windows Media Player 10 on my Dell desktop. This is the only Windows music player I have ever known. Then I was prompted to update to Windows Media Player 11. I complied, but when I checked out the new version I was horrified. I hated it! There isn't a list, there are lots or big, bulky folders. If you have many artists, songs, or albums, you have to scroll down forever to get through your whole collection. There is a nice search feature (like in Media Player 10). The overall design and look was OK, it was sleek and black. Luckily there is a very convenient "roll back" feature. This allows you to roll back to the previews version of Windows Media Player. I have only run across one website that wouldn't allow me to view all the features because I didn't have Media Player 11 installed.Has anyone else updated? Do you like it, or hate it?
