Not too long ago, users on the Neowin.net forums started complaining about not being able to send YouTube links to their contacts on Windows Live Messenger. I was skeptic at first, but it didn’t take me very long to confirm that is indeed the case. As you can see, any messages that contain in text or links to “www.youtube.com” fails to be delivered. Curious as a cat, I loaded up a network packet sniffer to find out exactly what’s going on behind the scenes. Uscita pochi giorni fa la beta 9 di Windows Live Messenger e precisamente la 9.0.1407.1107. Trattasi di beta potrebbe essere un applicazione instabile e quindi tendente ad avere errori. Vi terrà al corrente se verranno sviluppate delle nuove versioni o patch a riguardo. Il downalod si trovo alla fine di questo articolo e preciso che si tratta del file integrale e non si un semple downloader.

The news about Windows Live Messenger 9.0 (WLM 9.0), also known as MSN Messenger 9.0, has been around since many days now and I was very eager to give it a try. I even signed up for Microsoft Connect, hoping to get an invitation. But, didn’t got any! LOL! They only gave out invitations to their old members, which included some 5000 beta testers.But guess what? I just found a way to try it out, thanks to Tech Today. And my readers too grab it and try the next version of the world’s most popular instant messenger

El instalador de esta versión Beta (Privada) fue distribuida solamente a un reducido grupo de colaboradores para que pueda ser testeada (revisada), pidiendoles que no hicieran publico el ejecutable, sin embargo el instalador “se filtro”, dicen que a “alguien” se le ocurrió subirlo a internet y es así como esta por todos lados…
Entre las nuevas características de esta versión Beta (privada), destacan:

Efectivamente, se acaba de filtrar el tan famoso Windows Live Messenger 9. El programa de mensajería instantánea más utilizado ha llegado a una versión nueva que actualmente se encuentra en Beta pero debido a un filtrado (Qué raro no?) ya es posible descargar y empezar a testear.
De momento podemos comentar algunas cosas interesantes sobre esta nueva versión:
La interfaz gráfica es muy similar a la versión 8.5, por no decir idéntica.
Nueva opción que nos permite reportar a una persona como spammer, supongo que básicamente si Microsoft recibe muchísimas avisos de spamming sobre una cuenta procederían a realizar las acciones adecuadas.
Posibilidad de estar conectado desde más de un lugar. Si nos dejamos el Messenger conectado en casa y tenemos esta opción activada, cuando nos conectemos en el trabajo la sesión no finalizará.
El menú para administrar los sonidos del Messenger es más fácil de utilizar y nos proporciona una opción para no escuchar ningún sonido.
