Texas’ ambitious program to get old polluting cars and trucks off the road – one of the largest in the U.S. – may soon roll to a temporary halt.
The North Central Texas Council of Governments, which administers the old vehicle voucher program on behalf of the state, has gotten 12,000 applications from people seeking money to help replace their old cars and trucks.
If all 12,000 applications were to be approved, they would exceed the first $30 million that the state has allocated for the program, officials said. No date has been set, but the council will probably need to quit taking applications in a few weeks.
A second phase of the program should begin in September.

The new Passport 9500i is tested in highways and the result is quite successful. Suppose we are driving our vehicle at a speed over 60 Km/hour and suddenly a police cop note down our speed using laser gun and the result the police cop receive in his laser gun is quite comical say (due to signal jamming ) an error message appears in the cops laser gun. In the mean time we have to switch a button to show our speed as 35 Km/hour and it’s quite simple to do that. So gear up and enjoy driving with out any traps from these cops.
Well, the holidays are thankfully over and things are getting back to normal around here. And we finally got our Wii back, as it had to be sent in to get serviced. Turns out in some of the older models leaving the Wii in standby mode with WiiConnect24 turned on means that the wifi card will eventually cook the graphic chip, which ultimately means you start seeing small graphic problems as you're playing games or even on the main menu screen. Here's an example (though the guy's camera isn't that great).

This February some strange person decided to break a record in an extremely odd way. Andreas Evstratiou wore a wedding dress on the 18th that was 4,468 feet long! It sounds really stupid, I know, but it is a new record!

BusinessF1 Magazine Ltd, the company which publishes the BusinessF1 magazine, has had a number of expensive legal actions to contend with in recent years and it seems that the burden may have been too much. The High Court in London has received a petition to wind-up the business because payments have not been made to Tony Purnell, former head of the Jaguar F1 team, who took legal action against the magazine and won. The petition will be heard on the High Court on September 5.

I’ve worked with many couples who are struggling to rebuild trust in their relationship after experiencing the betrayal of infidelity by one of the partners. Very often I’ve seen the person who had the extramarital affair express the desire that their spouse “get over” the incident far too early in the healing process. I think this often reflects that person’s inability to “stay in their pain” long enough to fully come to terms with the devastating consequences that such a violation of trust causes. Since they can’t handle uncomfortable feelings for very long (which probably has something to do with why they were unable to resist having an affair in the first place) they subtly or even overtly put undue pressure on their partner to prematurely forgive them.I try to provide realistic expectations from the outset of therapy that the process of rebuilding trust is long and slow but ultimately worth it. This summer feels as if it has been all rain. At the moment it is pouring, the sky is lead grey and I am waiting for the thunder to come and switch off the electric.
