Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel are about to rock for Barack. It was announced today that the two music superstars will co-headline "Change Rocks," a concert for the campaign of democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama on Thursday October 16 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Obama himself will also take part in the event, as will other "special guests" still to be disclosed

Ero un pochino scettico prima di andare a teatro a vedere il musical scritto dai (restanti) Queen “We Will Rock You“. Ma avevo le mie ragioni. Infatti la mia precedente esperienza con la simpatica band inglese risale a qualche anno fa quando sono andato a vedere il concerto dei Queen+Paul Rogers. Penso siano stati i soldi peggio spesi della mia vita, dopo quelli che i miei genitori hanno speso per farmi battezzare. Invece devo dire che il musical si è fatto apprezzare. Certo, la storia è un po’ debole (=fa schifo): siamo nel 2300qualcosa e non esiste più la musica fatta con strumenti musicali, solo computer. Ma c’è ancora un gruppo di uomini che vive nella speranza che il rock possa tornare a vivere e che si possano trovare ancora sulla terra degli strumenti musicali. Sì, fa schifo. Ma qualcuno è in grado di citarmi la storia di un musical che sia profonda e intelligente? Ho apprezzato come tutte le più celebri canzoni dei Queen siano state fatte entrare
