      Wichita Falls Gets Green Brier Village
      WICHITA FALLS (TimesRecordNews) – Arlington-based Southwest Realty will be bringing more affordable housing to the city early next year. Green Brier Village, a 76-unit apartment complex geared toward low-income tenants will be ready for occupancy around March 1. Green Brier Village will have 24 one-bedroom apartments ranging from $366 to $458 per month, 28 two-bedroom units ranging from $424 to $535, and 24 three-bedroom apartments ranging from $496 to $624. The project is being built on six acres at Airport Drive and Burkburnett Road, and a planned second phase could bring 36 to 48 more apartments. The development is being administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. UAH Management in Dallas will manage the property.

      The Wichita/O'Hare UFO connection
      I debated about posting this. But, I've been monitoring the television news stations out of Wichita reporting on the supposed Strange Sight Over Kansas that occurred last Tuesday morning.In the local news broadcasts I watched, they always seemed to have the hapless weatherman explain the multiple photographs and video away as something called a "hole punch cloud."Well, something about this, and similar stories rang a bell with me. And sure enough, I did a little research and found a correlation between Tuesday's event over Wichita and the now famous UFO incident last fall at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.As you may recall, United Airlines pilots, flight crew, and mechanics reported a disc shaped object hovering over O'Hare's tarmac-- before the thing took off at tremendous speed and ripped a round hole in the gray clouds, briefly exposing blue sky behind the dark overcast.A quick Internet search on your part would show that this is by no means limited to Wichita and Chic
