Elwood “Bunky” Bartlett and his wife, Denise, were on their way to a “new age” shop, Mystickal Voyage, where he occasionally teaches Wicca and Reiki when they stopped off and purchased 2 $5 Mega Millions tickets.
Their winning ticket was 1 of 4 which should give the Barlett’s $82.5 million. If he accepts a one-time lump payment, he will probably walk away with about $32 million after taxes.
According to Mr. Barlett, he promised the gods ”you let me win the lottery and I’ll teach”.
With the odds of any ticket winning at about one in 176 million it seems that someone somewhere answered that prayer!

The pentacle has been added to a list of 38 emblems allowed in national cemeteries and on government-issued headstones of fallen soldiers, according to a settlement announced Monday.
While the first applications for the symbol were sent to the VA a decade ago, it wasn’t until the death of Patrick D. Stewart, 113th Aviation, D company, Mustangs, of the Nevada National Guard, that the story drew national attention. He was killed in action in Operation Enduring Freedom and his widow was denied the right to have the symbol of her and her husband’s faith applied to his memorial marker.
Finally 21 months later approval has finally been won.

And to put icing on the cake, Harry Potter isn't limited to young people. Adults have embraced the series perhaps even more so than their children!
