      Protect Your Web Content
So you have put in a lot of hard work and time to create that quality content, be it an article or a graphics or a video, well any kind of content, if you are worried about protecting it from being copied, there are a lot of ways to do this. But first let me tell you, we are talking about protecting digital content and intellectual property, which is a huge issue and no matter whatever developments happened in this field, it's never always possible to ensure hundred percent protection for your contents. Every protection soon invents its counter protection too. So, should you loose all hope and simply watch your latest article being copied to another site? No way! Instead what we can do is to implement not a single tool but follow a good strategy which includes a set of tools and other resources to ensure maximum protection for your contents. Depending on your contents and your requirements you may want to draw and follow your own strategy, but they would be more or less similar. Her

SEO Duplicate Web Content Penalty Myth Exploded
The "duplicate content penalty" myth is one of the biggest obstacles I face in getting web professionals to embrace reprint content. The myth is that search engines will penalise a site if much of its content is also on other websites. Clarification: there is a real duplicate content penalty for content that is duplicated with minor or no variation across the pages of a single site. There is also a "mirror" penalty for a site that is more or less substantially duplicating another single site. What I'm talking about here is the reprint of pages of content individually, rather than in a mass, on multiple sites. Another clarification: "penalty" is a loaded concept in SEO. "Penalty" means that search engines will punish a website for violations of the engine's terms of service. The punishment can mean making it less likely that the site will appear in search results. Punishment can also mean removal from the search engine's index of web pages ("de-indexing" or "delisting"). Ho

      Web content, fresh and hot!
Hey, guess what? Tomorrow is my blogging anniversary. I started blogging on April 24, 2000. Yep! SEVEN years ago. Isn’t that crazy? The face of blogging has changed so much over the years, too. Back in the day, you didn’t hear about “Mommy Bloggers.” People were just, y’know…bloggers. There weren’t really a whole lot of niche blogs around then, either - most blogs were basically of an assortment of links and anecdotes and pictures and personal ramblings - the only thing making each one unique was the author’s personal flair. And no one ever even thought about using their blog to make money via sponsored content! Boy, times have sure changed, huh? Now I keep hearing about seo article services, which provide legitimate, relevant content for sites, including niche blogs, to up their search engine rankings. Although it’s considered an unethical practice, plenty of site owners place useless content on their sites - full of the right ke

Web content to guide medical decisions
I recently came across a webcast video editoral on online content for physicians for point-of-care to guide decisions at Medscape. What struck me first was the use of video to augment the text. At first, it was refreshing to see video providing content, however, it was apparent that it was the same content as the video. While searching Medscape, they also provide continuing education units. This was an integration of video with a Powerpoint presentation on evidence-based exercise medicine. However, the video didn't provide any additional content that audio could have provide. It was three professors speaking (like a news cast), along with the presentation. Audio would have been more than adequate to augment the presentation. Video would be helpful if there was something physical to show.As the web continues to expand and more content is provide online, healthcare providers, consumers, and third-party stakeholders will be able to readily access this information.
